Yo Baby Rocks!
I bought a bunch of these Yo'Babys and gave them away as party favors to both girls and boys....They loved them. Suddenly everyone was on them in the living room and NO one was playing video games orsaying they were bored. All the kids (ages 4-12) were moving, jumping, spinning and best of all they were REALLY exercising without even knowing it!
It's a terrific product and indestructable. I understand a DVD is coming out to show kids how to do all the tricks..... Too cool! A happy Mom

excellent learning skates
These skates were purchased for our granddaughters sixth birthday. She loves them and has gone skating several times. She continues to improve each time she tries them.
Rating :
Great if you don't want your child to move around much!
I just bought these skates for my 6 year old daughter. She was so excited to have "big girl" skates. We put them on and everything seemed great. The adjustment button functioned properly and the straps were great. Then she started to try to skate. She pushed off and went about 4 inches. The wheels barely turn. So i took them off her and tried to adjust the nuts holding the wheels on thinking they were too tight and binding the wheels. They weren't. I took a couple of the wheels off completely, held the center spindle and spun the wheel. It turned 1/2 turn and stopped. I thought maybe they needed to be greased a little so i put a little Tri-Flow on the bearings. It didn't make any difference. They are going back to Amazon today and taking my daughter to a local sports store to find her some real skates that really skate.

great learner skate
This skate is perfect for a beginner, I bought for my 4 year old and she loves it, shes able to stand and skate around on it very well, my only issue with this skate is that the stop portion in my opinion is too hard but other than that it is wonderful

Great beginner skates
My 4 yr old had been using those adjustable plastic beginner skates for the past 2 years, and was not learning how to skate in them. She had finally outgrown them, so I decided to get some skates with real wheels. I found skates almost exactly like these with the Disney Princesses on them, for $44. I am not a fan of them, so I kept looking, knowing I could always go to them as a last resort. When I saw these non-princessed skates I fell in love! When I saw the price I thought I was in heaven. When I took them out of the box I was estatic! They are beautiful, have a nice weight to them, and are easily adjustable. Lots of room to grow. PERFECT for a girl growing at the speed of light. She wears them around the house practically every day and was already skating better the first day she put them on. I HIGHLY recommmend these to everyone looking for skates for a pre-schooler. You will not be disappointed.

Adjustable Quad Skates
The first set of skates we got we had to send back because the right skate would not adjust. The button was plain stuck! We tried everything - screwdriver, hammer, pliers... you name it. Immediately went on the computer and asked for an exchange and the new set of skates was here 1 day later! They sent them out next day delivery. We were very happy because they were a gift for our daughter for graduating pre-school and you can only imagine how devistated she was that she could not use them the day she opened them. The replacement pain that we got work great and adjust easily. OUr dtr can put them on by herself and loves skating outside with her friends.

Bones Speed Cream is a high temperature, low viscosity synthetic skate lubricant specifically formulated by Bones to reduce friction, and protect agaist corrosion
Customer Review :
Must have for all longboarders.
I purchased this along side with Bones Reds Precision Skate Bearings. The difference is really astounding; combined with red bones bearings, the spin time of my wheels are four or five times longer. They over excellent lubrication for any bearings, but I recommend users to purchase a set of Bones Reds to compliment their purchases.
It's a simple, effective, and low-cost way to enhance and maintain your board.

Good Product
The Product is good but the shipping was not as fast as i would like but overall the seller was good and delivered the original product. Will buy again if needed.
Rating :
A tad pricey, but way worth it.
This is an excellent lube for bearings. They are definitely noticeable in speed increase and smoothness. This is a must if: You have expensive bearings and you clean them down to the ball bearings; You want cheaper bearings to improve; You need some extra lubing on your old bearings. As the four star buyer said, it is a bit pricey, but in my opinion, every drop is worth every penny. Remember though, if you buy bones bearings, they will have already integrated this lube in their bearings (which probably why they are cheaper bearings that ride like quality ones).

Great Product
The Sole Skate is really awesome! I ride it to school everyday. the ony problem is turning is a bit tough, but otherwise great product.
Rating :
Big fun in a little package
Pulled the Sole Skate out of its packaging and it was ready to ride without having to do anything else to it. Since we don't have a flat street to practice on, I jumped on it, pointed it down the hill we live on and took off. I was a little wobbly at first, but quickly gained confidence going down the hill.
The Sole Skate is stable and maneuvers easily. Anybody who has ever ridden a skateboard will instantly be comfortable on the Sole Skate. I'm 41-years old, and felt like a kid again racing downhill.
There is a rear-wheel brake, which is depressed when you put your foot on the board. This brake stops the skate when you step (or fall) off. Also, if you lift your heel while skating, the brake will help slow you down. A little.
I was a little disappointed with the speed of the Sole Skate, so I upgraded the bearings to a better quality ABEC 7 bearing and added a better spacer than the floating stock spacer. Much, much better. Almost too fast for the hill we live on, really.
The Razor Sole Skate is rated for "up to 225 lbs," but I weigh about 25 lbs more than that, and have pushed the skate pretty hard and it seems to be holding up pretty well. If you weigh under the prescribed 225 lbs, you'll probably need a sledgehammer to break this thing.
I also like that the Sole Skate will fit in one of my motorcycle saddle bags or in a back pack in case I want to take it along with me somewhere.

can't wait until summer to use this little thing as it was meant to be used
I had been saving some money to get a ripstik, but I decided to get my sole skate the day after I had even heard of it. I took my local bus down to a store where they sell it, and then walked home in the pouring rain. I wanted it THAT badly. I was so excited to ride it right away, but then I realized that I could learn how to ride this little sole skate in the rain; it would be too hard. So I practiced a bit inside my house in my tile hallways. I became a bit disheartened by the lack of progress I was making, and wasn't thinking to highly of my new toy. But this Easter weekend, I decided to take a better shot at learning to ride the thing, and it was pretty much just awesome!
I too live in a place on my street where either direction I take off, I head straight down hill. After an hour of practice or less, I was able to fly down the hills comfortably. Compared to a skateboard, this thing is pretty stable. It is a bit shaky, but not so much that you freak out about how you are probably going to die. It goes pretty fast, but I might put in some ABEC 7's like the other reviewer did. I would be a bit nervous going down my hill though, because it did gain some serious speed.
The turning is ok; it takes a long time to master it especially with the direction you would go putting weight on outside of your feet; turning into the arch is easier (the direction is different for all depending on which foot you put on the sole skate). Sharp turning is pretty much impossible for me right now, though I am getting better.
My favorite thing about this board is its physical qualities. You can just throw it down onto the street and fly; it doesn't break! The compact size is amazing too. It's a bit heavier than I expected, but nothing like the ripstik or a skateboard. You probably would hardly feel it in a backpack. I can't wait until summer when I can strap this to my bike or carry it in a backpack and bring it pretty much everywhere; the beach, the city, etc. But seriously, get this thing!! It's awesome!!!
I am a teenage girl by the way.
-------------------------------------------------------- edit After about a month, I still love my sole skate, but I feel like I have to tell you some things I have found out about it. It's difficult to use on even slightly rough pavement but not impossible. It gets really loud and shakes, making your foot feel tingly after you get off of it. But it doesn't hurt, so I at least don't find it too bad. But I've also realized how awesome it really is. The weather's been nice, so I've been going around on it and it can take you far! Still 5 stars.

Editorial Review :
Best described as a cross between a skateboard and a snowboard, the Ripstik caster board is distinguished by its pivoting deck and 360-degree inclined caster trucks, which offers a snowboard-like carving ability. The RipStik "G" features a spinning aircraft-grade aluminum "G" tube in the center for extreme grinding action. Like the original Ripstik, the "G" moves you forward with a simple weight transfer that lets you turn or accelerate without pushing--just like when you're carving down the slopes.
The aircraft-grade aluminum tube in the center is ready for extreme grinding. | The board offers such features as spiked traction pads, a kick tail and nose, and a concave deck design, which combine to improve your foot control--a must for tricks. And thanks to the 76mm polyurethane wheels and precision ABEC-5 bearing casters, skaters will enjoy a smooth ride on almost any type of pavement. Designed for children 8 years and up, the Ripstik's plastic end platforms and metal torsion beam support up to 220 pounds. Key Features: - Inclined caster trucks
- Concave deck platforms
- Traction plates
- Kick nose
- Kick tail
- Rubber-padded handle
- Torsion bar
- 76-millimeter polyurethane wheels
- High-performance ABEC-5 bearings
- For ages 8 years and older
- 220-pound rider weight capacity

8-year-old boy loves it
I bought this for my younger son as a B-day gift. He absolutely loves it. In fact, his elder brother follows him for a chance to play it (usually it is the other way around). The younger one is rough on any toy and the older one is over 5'10" and 165L. At first I was worried about the wheels based on some reviews. Now we have had it for over a month. The boys play it every single day. It shows some wear and tear on both edges and wheels, but nothing too bad. So in my opinion it is durable.

My daughter loves hers!
My daughter paid for this out of the money she had saved. She has learned to be very careful about what she spends her money on, but both of us think this has been well worth the price. She also shopped around a bit and figured out that buying it from Amazon was less expensive than it was on sale at the local discount chain. This is a wonderful product and a great place to get it!

Ripstick ROCKS
Thank you for getting the Ripstick-G silver to us in a timely manner. It was a Christmas present and the entity that we ordered it from could not come through. We received it from Amazon within 2 weeks. My child uses it everyday, in house and out of house. Wish I had a picture of my all-star pitcher and infielder improving his coordination on this fun device. His older brother loves it too. Thank you for coming through.

Great Price
I orderd this for my son. I was somewhat concerned about it getting to us in a reasonable amount of time after reading what people have said about ontrac shipping. It came a day late but I think that was because of the holiday. I called ontrac and they were very supportive about getting it to me. My son had a wave board before this. He left it in his freinds drive and his mom ran over it and broke it in half. This ripstick is a far better board than the wave. I highly recommend it. The price was alot cheaper than walmart. I noticed it is even cheaper now than it was a week ago. Amazon ROCKS!

Quality, solid, worth the price
I purchased this one for my son for Christmas this year. It's hard buying things online, not knowing the quality of them, so I was pleased when it arrived. It was very heavy, solid, good weight and made of sturdy, quality material. My son is fifteen, going on sixteen, and he can be quite destructive, so good quality items are important for me.
It was very tight at first, so it took some time for him to break it in so it properly twisted at the center like it's supposed to, but a little breaking in and it worked like a charm.
Definitely recommended for pre-teens, teens and young adults who are into skateboarding. This brings skateboarding to a whole new level.

Question : Can the good people of Yahoo help me choose a good digital camera for sports action shots?
There are so many reviews at all the different web sites that sell cameras. Some people love the camera's they bought while the person reviewing right after them will absolutely hate it. I'm on a budget up to $500. This camera will be for sports shots of my kids participating in soccer, hockey, and baseball. PLEASE HELP Thanks!!
Answer:
At that budget, you may be looking at purchasing a used DSLR with something like a 55-200mm or 70-300mm lens.A DSLR because they are the only cameras that have a small enough shutter lag to "catch" the action when you press the shutter release.A long lens to be able to get good tight shots of the players. You can buy a new DSLR for under $500, but it will not have THE lens you really need.http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11208748&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=&lang=en-US&s= 1

Question : How do i start a clothing company in action sports?
i want to have a company like DC SHOES. BURTON. ETNIES. PLAN B SKATEBOARD. BILLABONG. I love action sports and i want to design and create. Dont know what to study in college or how to start. Please help!!
Answer:
u need to study fashion in high school and most high schools have 3 years of it and then at the end you get a certificate for it. same thing in college look for courses that involve business, fashion design, industry, and other thing that would have to do involving mass production. And then after that you might want to start making shirts with a pretty mainstream name. like those you listed above. finding the rite name might be pretty hard though. spend a while making a pretty cool looking logo for your shirts too. if you talk to local board shops that also sell apparell, then you could ask them if they could consider buying your shirts. once they buy your shirts, you can go to local skateparks to look for skaters that would maybe like to be sponsored by you. give them free shirts and stuff like that maybe a lil cash too. enter them in competitions and say you want some of their prize $. may sound like an ass thing to do, but hey, it works.
