Question : getting a sony vx2000
I'm getting a sony vx2000 with a century optics mk2 fisheye lens all together for around 350 400 bucks and am wondering if i should get it or not because I'm filming action sports like skating and bmx but not professionally ..... any thoughts and i dont want a crappy camcorder digital camera i want a high quality one that will last me
Answer:
The VX2000 is a decent cam, if a wee bit old, apart from the wear and tear consider the repair costs if anything goes wrong.It is also a 4:3 sensor, with pseudo widescreen (not full quality)The price however seems very low, the lens would cost that alone, if its all what it seems then its a bargain, may just be a pig in a poke, tread carefully.

Question : Why when black people try to prove their superiority will be selective and mention only what they do good?
Sports is the major example , what do i mean?I hear tons of black folks claim racial superiority in ALL SPORTS and they will mention basically 3 sports that they excel as basketball,football or running in track!What about baseball (some do good ok but i am talking for the majority here) , Hockey ,Lacrosse , swimming , volley , water polo , winter sports , action sports , auto and motor sports , cycling ,skate , surfing , diving , wrestling , MMA , tennis , golf , triathlon , gymnastics , skiing etc ?I mean there are some good or great black athletes like there are some great white athletes in basketball and tons in football (all the QB's basically who win MVP award mostly)In track and field for example they will mention running or long jump events to prove their superiority but what about javelin , shot put , hammer , discus , walking race , decathlon , triple jump ,pole vault , high jump??????????Oh i forgot white men win these events and blacks prefer to be blind when it comes to them lol!

Question : Question About Dish Network Channels?
My family recently switched from Charter cable to Dish. I used to watch Fuel on channel 306 all day, everyday. We have every channel on Dish, and I can't seem to find a channel that's like fuel.Fuel is a channel about skating and bmx and all that good stuff for those who don't know.So does Dish have a channel that's all action sports? Cause I'm gonna go crazy if they don't.

By November of 2007, Copper Mountain in Summit County Colorado plans to provide the first progressive winter-focused action sports facility to skiers and snowboarders. Previously, Woodward Camps and facilities were only available for summer action sports such as inline skating, skateboarding and BMX. Woodward at Copper will maintain the same instructional principles of Woodward’s world famous camps in Woodward, PA. and Tehachapi, CA. The 20,000-square-foot indoor facility will incorporate progressive teaching apparatus including trampolines, foam pits, resi-pits and bungee systems, two on-snow superpipes, and a private terrain park. This safe and supported environment will allow winter athletes to push the limits of their own abilities while propelling competitive snowboarding to the next level.

Question : what is the easiest action sport to go pro in?
I skate snowboard and i ride a dirtbike and i bmx and i really like to do them all i love racing on my dirt bike i love to just skate around and snowboarding is so much fun and bmxing i was the easiest to go in the park with but hardest to learn tricks are there any other sports amd i kinda wana focus on 1 or 2 cuz i really want to get good which one should i stick with and are there any other and what is the eaisest to go pro any of them because i love to do them all and i am 13 and vary athlehtic.

Question : how can i find out where the autograph signing is?
As you know the Mountain Dew Action Sports toor is this Saturday (Go Skate Day!!!) and there are several competitors who usually do autograph signings. The one am most intrested in though is Ryan Sheckler. He is one of my skating role models (his Tres suck, but look at the drops he does and how clean he can Varial). Anyway I have some stuff I would like to get signed by him and I was wondering how i could findo ut when he would be making an appearance?

i was just wondering i want to major in photography and id like to know what collages are recommend and who has the hookups like contacts like trans world mag id like to be a action sports photographer(snow skate bmx) and whats the best way to go about it

If you really feel the need for college, Brooks Institute of Photography is what I recommend.First off, the basics & fundamentals is absolutely key... & more important than who you know. At Brooks, you will learn everything you want about photography & even things you really don't care about. Although I majored in Photography in college, I learned more in my first year that I went to Brooks, then I did in the 2-3 yrs of photography offered at traditional universities.Though there are no specific sports class that I am aware of, it will be a "piece-of-cake" IMO compared to a lot of the other skills you will be required to master. Once you have those basics mastered, you will then be able to focus all your time & attention to the aspects of getting to know the players in the industry, developing contacts, & making sure you are at the right spots at the right time.I went to school with a buddy who took what he learned & applied it to shooting motocross. Of course the fact that he used to ride really helped him to excel -- as he could anticipate action very well. After Brooks, he worked with a couple motocross magazine companies for a year or two before moving away from sports and into the big leagues of shooting for the bike companies & car companies.In addition, Brooks alumni are pretty prominent within the photography community. Brookies are very good about helping other Brookies to get a foot in the door. Though at the time there were not many Brookies in the motocross world, his work being above-&-beyond everyone else's got him a job within 2 races.My final piece of advice, make sure photography is for you before you commit serious time & money to an education that is so focused. Spend a lot of time photographing at sporting events. Make sure you don't mind the lifestyle, the competition, etc. Take the time to check out the pros at the local events... how are they doing? Are they able to make a living shooting action sports?... or are they having to hold other jobs to make a living? Though we all dream of making the big leagues , you can't forget that you'll need to make sure your path is sustainable while you work your way up.Best of luck!
