Question : Is it socially acceptable to expose scars by wearing shorts and skorts?
I have come to the U.S. from an Asian country. I have old scars (the size of nickles) on the back of both my legs. I would like to wear shorts when it is hot outside. Would it be considered rude to expose those scars. Would people be shocked?

Answer:
It is definitely not considered rude. Some people might seem to stare at first out of curiosity, but they'll soon forget about it and go on with their day. No one will judge you or look down on you for having scars and wanting to wear shorts. People do it all the time. Besides, your legs are no ones business but your own. Wear all the shorts and skorts you want!

Would you rather see Katy Couric in a bikini or in skorts and a haltar top?

Answer:
You can't go wrong with the bikini... well actually I take that back. I guess I wouldn't mind seeing what she looks like in the bikini though. Besides, I don't know where she'd get a pair of skorts anyway. :)

Question : what should be the appropriate tennis wear for me? Since i cant wear SHORT SHORT skorts?
I love to play tennis and hope to be in a tournament soon. I know that most female tennis athletes wears tennis dresse, skorts and stuff. But i ome from a very conservative family and im not allowed to wear things as short as that. The shortest i could go is until my knees. And half sleeves tops. What do u think should i wear when playing tennis (e.g. capris long shorts etc.)? currently im wearing track pants and jersey. Also if u have any pictures of what the outfit looks like then that would be great! thankxz

Answer:
well you could just wear athletic shorts (like basketball shorts guys wear). this link is a picture of what one would look likehttp://www.robbinssports.com/sporting-goods-store/images/augusta-sportswear-ladies-double-mesh-a thletic-shorts.jpgalso, during the winter you could wear sweatpants, or those long pants that feel not like cotton, but kinda slippery (you can slide your hand down them without much friction).sweatpants: http://www.wihumane.org/shop/images/sweatpants-500.jpglong pants:http://www.amazon.com/Intimo-Classic-Satin-Sleep-X-Large/dp/B0002OQ86Y/ref=sr_1_10/002-5626879 -1256023?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1189283023&sr=1-10some of those pictures are men's clothing since i just googled the clothing, but they come in women's too.for a shirt you could just wear a t-shirt or tank top with sleeved shirt under it

Question : can i practice tennis using skorts/jogging pants or anything that makes me comfy?
can i practice tennis using anything that makes me comfortable?

Answer:
what's most important is that you are comfortable while playing, wearing something that isn't will just distract you from your game.however, if the weather is fairly nice it is usually good to wear something lighter as it does help you be able to move around.
