great goggles

I purchased these for my 5 year old who has had problems with traditional goggles in the past. Traditinal goggles are difficult to fit for fidgety young children, not to mention uncomfortable. He is able to maipulate these specs and wears them all day in the water. They are comfortable for him, easy to adjust, and provide an unobstructed periferal view. I love these goggles and would recommend them to anyone with small children.

My kids absolutely love these goggles. I had to buy an extra set because my son will not wear anything else and I was worried we would lose one pair and he would refuseto swim ! They rarely fog up, are very much adjustable and comfortable and the kids enjoy wearing them. Lots of people ask about them because they do not look like regular goggles and I always recommend them !

I bought these for my 11 year old son, and he loves them! Says they fit his face perfectly, don't steam up, and don't let water in. What more could you want in a swim goggle?!

my son's leaked from day 1 and they fit badly

I bought these based on the reviews for my 6 year old son who is petite, small framed. After much strap tightening, these goggles continued to leak and the pressure left deep lines into my son's face, but not only that, it seemed as if my sons eyes were struggling for room. My son is not shaped or sized out of the ordinary, so I am completely at a loss with why they fit so horribly on his face. Perhaps as another reviewer stated, a small face could be the problem to leakage. All in all, I am totally disappointed, how can these be considered leak proof? And the straps are bulky, much more strap to deal with then regular goggles. Adjusting on these goggles are super easy, though we tried a friends "TY" (?) brand, and they were super easy to adjust as well and they worked so much better than these aqua spheres, he didnt have panoramic viewing, but at least he did't have to empty them over and over or peer through the goggles with his eyes all pulled to the sides. I'm going to keep looking.

Best goggles - kids love them!

My two kids - 7 yr old daughter and 5 yr old son - love these goggles. They are more comfortable for them to wear, easy to adjust, and seal well to keep water out of their eyes. Couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Nice googles

These goggles have worked well for me so far. (1 month) They don't leak and are light and comfortable. I have had a small issue of fogging up during open-water triathlon races. Could have been my fault on one occasion. They worked perfect during an ocean swim also. I would recommend these goggles.

Best goggles you can buy!

I have owned several Speedo goggles over the past decade, some for competition and some for leisure use. These are by far some of the best I have used. Those looking to buy these, I know the old vanquishers were amazing but these are even better. Not only does the silicone seal fit better to your eyes, the increased peripheral vision really helps. I bought the Silver/Black mirrored versions and I've used them outside in the glaring sun doing a backstroke and they do not blind me. It is somewhat dark for nighttime use with little lighting outside, but is great for indoor use with the bright lights. And besides, you always choose the clear version if you need a bit lighter.

They fit snugly over your eyes and are great for diving as well. I did not need to change the noseplates, but it comes with 3 different nose-plates if you need a tighter/wider fit.

Do yourself a favor, spend the extra few bucks and get these over the old vanquishers. They are simply better.

Slips off, Not cute

In addition to being a hideous color, these squeezed my already small nose to resemble Michael Jackson's non-existant nose. I was self concious to wear them and my boyfriend refused to look at me with them on. These helped a bit at first but kept slipping off eventually. I don't know where they are now. Probably at the bottom of a pool somewhere. :(

Didn't work very well for me as another one did

This is one of the 5 different nose clips I purchased in an attempt to locate one that fits. 1 out of the 5 work very well and another one works but has to be readjusted after a couple of laps. I think nose clips would fit everyone differently specially based on sex and race. I'm a female Caucasian with a small to average size nose. Also I read these reviews when I purchase something so I try to leave feedback when I can. This is only my opinion of the nose clips I tried. You might hate the ones I like and visa versa.

This one was the winner! I really like it. This was by far the best clip out of the 5 I tried. It stayed on my nose and kept it closed no matter how many laps I did. It was comfortable to the point that I didn't even notice it while swimming. No need to adjust it because it stayed in place. I see Amazon only sells it in packages of 10. I purchased it from [...]. Comes with a nice case.

2. * Speedo Competition Nose Clip *
This one sort of worked but not well enough that I didn't want to try others. It was probably the second best one but still I had to adjust it after a lap. I think if you had a larger nose it would work. You can adjust it a little but it really has to do with the rubber not really holding in place on the nose so adjusting it didn't help much. Since it didn't fit it wasn't very comfortable and very noticeable. I keep this in my bag just in case something happens to the Speedo Silicone Nose Clip.

3. Tyr Soft Pad Swim Clip
This one didn't work because it didn't clip tight enough for my nose and there was no way to adjust the fit. I think it would work very well if you have a larger nose because the rubber material grips the nose well. It grips much better than the rubber on the Speedo Competition nose clip. 4. TYR Ergo Swim Clip
I really like this one when I first tried it but when I tried it at the pool as soon as it got wet the rubber wouldn't hold. It slipped completely off my nose as soon as I started to swim. If you're looking for a nose clip that you don't need to get wet this one held my nose close, stays on the nose, and is comfortable as long as I didn't get it wet. It comes with a nice case. There's no way to adjust the clip but its set tight so there's no need for me to adjust it. TYR Ergo Swim Clip

5. Water Gear Synchro Nose Clip
This one was the cheapest but it was also far inferior in terms of the quality of the materials used. The wire is thinner than the wire used by Speedo and doesn't hold its shape. I don't think this would work for anyone. Also didn't come with a case.Water Gear Synchro Nose Clip

Great for its purpose

I bought two pair of these for me and my wife about four years ago.

They are still in great condition. As opposed to cheap plastic clips you'll get in the sporting goods section of most department stores, these clips are quite comfortable to wear, and keep water out of your nose. I got them because we were both having problems with pollen that was floating on the water sending our sinuses into volcanic overload. With these clips on, that stopped immediately.

Not for short noses!

I am Asian and have a fairly short, flat-ish nose so these nose clips really don't work at all for me. I gave it 3 stars though because I don't think it's fair to judge them by my nose type since they work pretty well for my friends. But when it comes down to it, I can't use these at all (I've really tried multiple times) because the pinchy part comes down below the end of my nose when I try to put them on correctly. So they'll work for about a half-lap before they slide off. If you have a short nose like mine, I wouldn't recommend these clips. I use the case for my earplugs now!

works great

About once a year I make a trip to clearer waters. I usually spend a few hours snorkling each day for a week or so.

The mask may be a little limited peripherally. With a hard exhale the water build up can be easily cleared from the snorkel purge. Fins fit comfortably.

For the avg user, most masks are twice the price of this entire set. At one resort a single day rental was more than purchasing this set. I was quite impressed with the results, especially considering the price. Glad to have my own travel set.

Size chart confusion

Beware of confusion regarding the women's sizes on this item. I wear a size 9.5 shoe so based on the size chart in the product description, I ordered the Med/Lrg size. But when I got the gear in the mail, the box indicated that the Med/Lrg size was a women's 6-7.5 which would be too small for me. I scheduled a return for the item. I didn't want to open the box and risk not being able to return it for a refund. But some confusing comments on the review of this item caused me to take a second look. I did try the fin on and it did fit!!

So....long story short, the size chart listed in the product description appears to be correct, but don't be surprised when you get the item in the mail if it looks like you got the wrong size. Try it on first to see.

Hopefully this will save someone some time and frustration.

Perfect for a trip or recreational snorkeling!

We recently purchased two sets of these for a trip to Maui. After reading several reviews here on Amazon, I too was worried about the quality of the fins and reported leakage and breakage problems with the masks. My wife and I used both sets with excellent results!
We had some initial minor leaking on my wife's mask and discovered some of her hair was trapped in the seal. We cleared the hair and no more leaking (if you have any facial hair around the seal areas on the face, a little applied vaseline will help with the seal#. The fins held up very well and did a fine job. Fogging may be eliminated with spit. I suggest checking out the tips section on the US Divers website.
Additional comments:
1) This is not a professional set. Perfect for the yearly vacation or recreational use.
2) This set is easily packed in a large suitcase and also a beach bag, but a travel bag would have been nice. There are more expensive travel sets sold that fill this void.
3) The fins held up just fine, even around rough coral and lava fields. I accidentally left two of the fins on the top of the rental car and they fell off the roof at 30+MPH. No damage or cracking even then and we used them later that day. Follow the sizing charts listing on the sale page and also in other reader's reviews.
4) Try on the fins and pre-fit the snorkel and mask before you get into the water. It's easier.
5) We saved the original boxes for storage and will pack away inside until next year. This should insure additional trouble-free trips.

If you're about to take a vacation, don't even think about renting snorkel gear. We saw several sets of rental equipment during our trip and they were the most basic sets available, not to mention in very used condition. Quality of this set is FAR SUPERIOR to all of the basic rental equipment we saw at dive shops and at the same price as a one week rental (not to mention sanitary concerns)!
You will be happy you spent the money on your own set.

Great Snorkel Set

I purchased this set for my 11 year old son for his birthday right before our vacation to Nags Head. It fit him well with room to grow (he's average sized). He's used it a lot in the ocean and at home in the pool. The goggles seal well and the snorkel stays dry. Decent Water Shoe for a Variety of Activities

I bought two pair of these shoes. One for my girlfriend and a pair for myself for a recent rafting trip. We used them the entire time and had very few complaints. At the end of the trip, my girlfriend had little marks on the top of her feet from the zipper after jamming her feet into the rafting foot holds. My feet were a little sore as well from the zipper, but what do you expect when you're jamming your feet into tight spaces? At first, we both thought the we might have done a little better with a half-size smaller, but the shoes didn't fall off our feet while we played and swam in fast flowing river water. On the whole, we both loved our shoes. I've taken my shoes to the gym sauna... and my girlfriend just took her shoes on a family trip to Hawaii to wear while snorkeling. Overall, a decent water shoe for a variety of activities.

Awesome for beach

Havent used these in the pool but they are good for climbing rocks at the beach and they are very thick. I felt safe in the ocean walking around. I love that they zip up! The price is awesome! They are really worth it for the beach.

I have used this shoe for walking on stones by the ocean and for walking in streams and have found it very comfortable and I did not skid while walking of wet surfaces.
