Finally! Goggles that work well with my big head.

I have a big head with a funny shape. The only way I could use 'normal' goggles without leaking was to strap them on very tight. This left me with circular grooves around my eyes after a 20 minute swim that would last for hours. I swim before work, so I would often arrive at the office looking like I had been punched! I bought this mask based on the member reviews here and so far I am thrilled. It does not leak. It is easy to adjust. And, the best part, it is very gentle on my face and does not leave marks. I'm ordering the same mask for my wife right now.

Best goggles that I've owned

Most goggles are uncomfortable and give me a headache. These don't bother me at all and they don't leak. I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

Great swim lens

I have never liked traditional swim goggles and they usually leak for me. This mask has a great seal and works very well. I have a slightly larger head/face (7 1/2 hat size)and these work great for me. The field of vision is much better then traditional googles as is the long term comfort. I would highly recommend these.

Aqua Sphere Vista Swim Mask (Clear Lens, Trans/Blue/Black)

Good seal, low profile. great Italian design.
Not ideal for backstroke where greater side view is needed.
More drag for fast swimming, but perfect for general swimming,
practice,long distance,open water,etc.

No Bags Under My Eyes!

I bought these because every other pair of swim goggles I have used have left awful looking bags under my eyes that lasted for a couple of days. I was about to give up swimming because of this problem. I tried these out, and I'm so glad I did!

They are smaller than I expected; that was a pleasant surprise. They create a great seal and do not leak. Lateral vision is very good and vertical vision is good enough. There was no fogging. Great product!

Pelican Case model 1500 with foam

As can be expected from Pelican, top notch quality ! If you are tired of the cheap cases that may, or may not protect your firearms or electronic gear then get a Pelican Case. They are worth the extra expense knowing that your gear is protected from theft ,shock, water, and dirt.

Excellent & Rugged

I received my Pelican case today. I use it to protect a couple of portable pieces of test gear. We have used Pelican cases where I work for years and I can attest to their durability. The case is well built and Pelican backs it with a lifetime guarantee.
I highly recommend any of the Pelican case products.

Armageddon Vault

Over the years, I've owned equipment cases of every type and brand, so I'll get right to the point...if the world ends in December of 2012, all that will survive will be Pelican cases and whatever was locked inside them!

A bit small for a pro camera kit

If you are considering this case for a small DSLR, read to the end. First, the basics...

I've used Pelican cases like this in my videography work quite a bit and this one matches up to others I've seen. It's a tough case, water-tight but not resistant to heat according to the owner's guide. The latches are a bit stiff on these cases but I love that it comes with pre-punched foam so you can easily fit whatever odd-sized object in snugly. Be sure to read the tips that come with it about using chalk or toothpicks to spot out the shape you want to cut out.

I ordered this case to hold my Canon T2i (550D) DSLR camera. Sure, the camera fits fine without a lens on the body, laying down screen side. And you can fit at least two small lenses in next to it. But the case is a bit too tight for my taste with the T2i resting on its bottom, which I'd like to do so I can store it with a lens attached. It also is too small to fit both the camera and the reasonably small Rode Videomic I bought to go with it. It would definitely be out of the question for the larger Canon 7D and 5DmkII or the Nikon D90 and the larger pro lenses.

The bottom line is that I'm probably going to keep this one to carry other, smaller equipment. I shouldn't have any problem finding a use for it. But if I was Goldilocks, this would not be the case that is "just right".

Solid, Rugged, All-Purpose Case

For years I'd used Halliburton cases, even developing a product that included a C-105 case that housed our portable video presentation system. At the time that case was about $45, but well worth the expense. By 1990 the price for the Halliburton shot up to nearly $500 for the same case. I still had a couple in stock that I continue to use today, but I needed something equally rugged but more cost-effective. Enter Pelican. The 1450 was advertised at a price less than the cost of re-foaming one of the Halliburtons. This was a no-brainer.

12 years ago I bought that yellow Pelican 1450 Case to ship delicate video gear between Texas and Washington State. It usually traveled as air freight because time was critical. I needed a case that while being absolutely indestructible, would protect its valuable contents extremely well. The highly visible yellow made it easy to spot on a shipping pallet or baggage belt, and pretty unattractive to potential thieves. The addition of a padlock keeps everything secure inside, and while it may not be too attractive, it is supremely functional.

I bought it to transport an expensive video recorder, but time and technology have moved on and I've repurposed the old Pelican to carry my Canon DSLR. While it travels primarily by car now, it is still comforting to know that it won't be crushed by a shifting load of gear, or filled with dust and grit on a shooting location. Would I buy another? You bet! Newer models are even better, with a padded handle and provision for a second lock. It's the best case on the market for anything near the cost.

The perfect suit for adults who spend less time in the water than competitive swimmers with the classic styling and performance for which Speedo is renowned. Super proback styling. Flat-locked stitching eliminates chafing. Low drag profile. Fully front lined. Bar tack reinforcement at stress points. Wide, non-slip straps. 2" Speedo logo on right hip. Non-chlorine resistant. Fabric: 86% Antron Nylon/14% Lycra spandex. Import, Domestic Fabric.

Customer Review :

Good basic suit- not lined

I have been swimming laps a few times a week in this suit for the last 3-4 months, and I really like it.
The wide straps are nice, and it's comfortable in the water- I'm not thinking about my suit while I'm swimming. I always rinse it in fresh water when I'm done swimming, and so far I don't see any chlorine damage.

Unlike my other Speedo, this suit is not lined. It doesn't bother me, even though I usually need softcup bras to prevent "headlights." The fabric is thick enough and tight enough to be supportive but not revealing. I think the lack of lining is also one of the reasons it dries so quickly- faster than any suit I've ever had.

As other posters have mentioned, the sizing on race suits is tight and small. Try on some Speedos at a store before you order, or order a couple and send the small ones back.

Update- I looked more closely at the suit today and realized the front has a double layer of fabric, which I guess qualifies as a lining.

Great suit, but order several sizes up!

I've owned this suit for about 6 weeks now. I swim in it 2-3 times a week in 2 different chlorinated pools. No signs of wear/tear at all! It's holding up really well.

It is a race suit, and I guess serious swimmers like their swimwear to be tight. I don't like feeling constricted, so I ordered several sizes up. I am 5'2", weigh 105 pounds, and ordered a size 36 after trying on Speedo suits in stores. This one is a little looser than ones I tried on in the store, so I probably could've gone with a 34. It's definitely not the highest quality suit I've ever owned, but for the price, I'm very happy with it.

Would definitely recommend with no hesitation!

Great Bargain

The quality of the suit is great, esp. for the price. It's also a relatively flattering cut.

It's ok, but I like the TYR better

I bought this suit as a second suit to use for a training class I do at the gym. It is ok for the price, but I like the more expensive TYR suit I have much better. The solid color is more "revealing" than some of the multi-color suits. By that I mean it reveals every curve and bump (good & bad). It doesn't fit as snuggly as the TYR suit.

I'll use it, but I wouldn't buy another one.

Good 'ol Speedo

I am a 34 year old mother of 3 and have been wearing speedo bathing suits since my days as a lifeguard/swim teamer. Speedo never lets me down. This particular model is a bit thinner than some of the others, but it's also one of the least expensive so, get what you pay for. The fit is nice: the neckline is high and the legs are cut low enough to be sensible but high enough to not make you look like you're trying to wear swim shorts.

I'm 5'2" and curvy (read - 3 months postpartum and nursing)

Excellent

These goggles are excellent. They fit perfectly which does not allow any water to get through. The only issue I have had with them is that when they do get wet on the inside, you can rub them dry since they have a film inside.

Excellent Goggles!

We had gone through three pairs of goggles each since last year for our children. They are on the swim team and none of the goggles would stay on them securely while diving in the pool. I overheard a mom telling another mom about the Hydrospex Jr goggles being the best goggles out there. I ordered a pair for each of my children and they work wonderfully! All three of them mentioned to me that these goggles are awesome. I would definetly buy these again in the future.

Rating :

Ok..

These goggles are great, they rarley fog up, I was in an indoor pool for 1 hour, and not once did I have a problem with them fogging up.

BUT..I got the wrong pair of goggles, I got the junior instead of the larger size, and they don't fit my eyes well, I don't know if this is the reason for them leaking, but it might be. I notice with any type of goggle, when you go upside down underwater, they leak.

The goggles are awesome!

I swim 3 times a week, and the goggles help me a lot! When I swim, none of the water gets into my eyes. I feel comfortable wearing those goggles. I recommend you to buy these goggles for kids.

Best Goggles Around!

After trying waaaay too many goggles and spending waaaay too much money for goggles that leaked, didn't fit right, made it hard to open your eyes due to sizing problems, etc....we found the Junior Hydrospex ones. They are the perfect size for kids AND adults. We all wear this same style in our family, and we love them.

This shopping experience was a pleasure. Shoe fits great and the previous reviews helped me order the right size. Good shoe and easy shopping keeps me coming back.

Look good, work well

These water shoes look snazzy in two shades of blue, and are very comfortable and quite durable. There are two things to watch out for however:

1. Like most water shoes they tend to run big, so if you are a half size you may want to order the next size down.

2. Like all water shoes and rubber boots, the insoles are not glued into place. I always take mine to the shoe repair shop and get the insoles glued into place before I start wearing them, otherwise the insole curls up and folds up inside the shoe after a few wearings.

Great Product, Great price

I bought this product prior to our vacation in Hawaii. For the price, this water shoe is great. It provided very good traction even when doing some easy hiking. It protected my feet when swimming in waters where there were a lot of exposed rocks. You definitely have to follow the shoe size guideline. One recommendation I have is to remove the shoe as soon as you can so you do not leave your feet inside a wet/damp environment. This is how my skin became mascerated and developed redness along the ball of my foot. I certainly do not attribute this to the product itself. I think this would happen with any water shoes I wear. I also bought my husband the same brand of water shoes for men and he wore it most of the time. He did not have any issue with skin masceration or redness on his feet. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Speedo Water Shoes

Works great when I use them for water aerobics but the inside lining comes up and bunches around my toes. I have to stop what I'm doing to reposition it.
