Customer Review :
Great binding
I'm just getting into wakeboarding and I bought these bindings for a shared board. They've been great for everyone who's used them. The very snug fit adds to my confidence level and is really helping me learn.
Rating :
Good
I haven't actually put these on my wakeboard yet, but i tried them on and they fit nice and tighten up very well. I have a size 12 foot and there seems to be a bit more room for a bigger foot, although not a ton. They look good and seem to be of good quality. 4 Stars only because i do not know how they perform on the water. BTW: This is for a Pair of Bindings.
Rating :
Question
This may be a dumb question, but is this just for one boot? Or is it the pair? I know it just says binding and not bindings but its not clear.
Let me know.

Detention 2012
Detention 2012 Wakeboard DVD Great instructional video for beginners and advanced riders. Tons of helpfull hints!!!
Rating :
Great For the semi-experienced
This is a great instructional DVD. The format for the instruction, however, is more focused on those who already have experience around a wakeboard. Being a 8 year veteran of the sport I already had the first disc down pat, and the second disc I knew the majority of. Where this DVD excels is the advancement of the Technique of tricks. Its not the best I've seen in terms of teaching tricks but it suffices. I would suggest this for any rider who wants to advance their riding. Even if they know the majority of the tricks on the DVD.

Future wakeboarding champ!!
I bought this for my boyfriend's birthday, but I really wanted it for myself. We just started wakeboarding this summer and this DVD came highly recommended from a friend. Shaun Murray is an incredibly talented wakeboarder, but he's also funny, entertaining, and a great teacher. The video is full of good information whether you are just starting out or if you are looking to add tricks to your arsenal. It's is also beneficial if you are helping beginners; he is able to verbalize the key points that are sometimes difficult to explain... even if you have wakeboarding experience.
Rating :
Great Wakeboarding DVD!!
I've boarded here and there for a couple years. Decided this year that I really wanted to get better on the board. This DVD shows all of the tools, techniques and body position that you need to know to improve your skills.
Rating :
Awesome video!!!
The best training video on the market. Murray breaks everything down to where it is so easy. Simply the best one going.

DRY PAK Roll Top Dry Bags
Customer Review :
Nice bag for the money
overall good bag, was looking for something to take camping near a creek. This will work but I also purchased a Sealine dry bag. Comparing Sealine to Kwik Tek Dry Pak, Sealine has better construction, materials and quality.
Rating :
Great weatherproof bag
I carried my photo gear in this bag while kayaking through a rainstorm in Thailand. It was tough, opening and closed quickly, and definitely didn't leak. Exactly what I needed.

Great product, great price
I love shopping on Amazon. I can find hard to find items easily and at a great price. I've been wanting one of these but had no idea where to buy one. I could compare products and prices and love that I can see through the bag. Perfect size.

Question : How important is a pole/tower and a spectra rope when it comes to wakeboarding?
I've gone wakeboarding a couple of times with a regular rope and no tower and it seemed to be very difficult. I understand that there is a decent learning curve with wakeboarding but I was just wondering how much of a difference it would really make to get a tower or spectra rope? I was wondering if they are worth picking up for the occasional wakeboarder...
Answer:
they are definitely worth the money you pay for them, even if you only occasionally ride, the first and foremost is the tower, or at least a 5' to 6' tall "eyepole" installed on the boat that is your biggest purchase which can run up to $1000 or more depending on the company you buy it from. it gives you a higher point to work from (and takes less stress off the boat to allow it to get on plane faster rather than plowing water for a couple of minutes to pull you out and up to your feet, especially if you're using an I/o {inboard/outboard boat} which doesn't have nearly the horsepower an inboard or wakeboard boat has: 125hp + for I/O, 200-300+ for inboards wakeboard boats) of and keep good tension on the line when attempting tricks otherwise you'll have a harder time keeping the slack out of the rope, which is crucial for getting good height and pop off the wake to clear it, plus you'll have to work harder thus physically wearing yourself out quicker, the tower works better than an eyepole because theres not as much flex with the usual "pyramid" style mounting design, meaning it's bolted directly into the top or sides of the boat (getting an adjustable tower for multiple boat designs is your best bet here); an eyepole is mounted in the center or back of the boat and can or will be anchored by ropes, but you'll still have a lot of flex since there's a single, central focal point for the tension from the line to come from.Spectra rope is pretty stretchy and doesn't maintain tension all that well, Dyneema is a better, more durable type of rope. you want a rope that is stretchy enough to give you the snap you need to pull off a trick, but still maintain it's consistancy since it should return to it's original position once the tension is released, whereas Spectra will continue to stretch and wear out eventually it can also tend to snag more and knot up into a complete rat's nest much easier than Dyneema, just make sure you allow the rope to loosen behind the boat before you roll it back up to put it away, or it'll twist up on you like a pretzelI like to use Accurate "A-line" (@ Hyperlite.com) or the StraightLine "Team" (Liquid Force.com) ropes as my tow rope choices since they have a good stiffness and durability. not to mention what a big difference that a good carbon fiber handle will do for you when put to good use along with the ropeit is expensive to get the right gear, but it definitely makes it harder on the rider(s) without them

Question : Wakeboarding?
I want to start wakeboarding, but I am not a very committed person.. It might be because I have not found something that I really enjoy yet or because I get bored of things easily, but I was wondering if wakeboarding would be a good sport that will be a lot of fun and also keep me interested for a long time. Oh and is it good exercise? Thanks.-S
Answer:
Yes definately! If you have access to a boat regularly, trust me, you will be doing it as often as you can! Best advice, get someone who is experienced and willing to teach you and try to get your friends involved in it. After your sets, you can hang out, drink, swim, cruise around, it's an all around great sport! haha Enjoy.Kramer

Question : What are some exercises to make me stronger when wakeboarding?
I want to be stronger when I start wakeboarding again in the summer. What are some arm and leg exercises that I could do to start training myself again? How long would it take for these exercises to start helping me?
Answer:
A great way to gain leg muscle for a sport like wakeboarding is by using an indo board. I have one and it helps build up my leg muscles for skimboarding and also helped with balance. For more info, check out: http://www.indoboard.com/ I hope I helped!!

Question : What is a good present to get my boyfriend that has to do with wakeboarding?
He is 21, weve been dating for a while now. I wanna spend up to 100. I dont know much about wakeboarding but he is obsessed with and and really good at it. Help please!
Answer:
whew, lucky for you the 2009 wake lineup just was released, head over to wakeside.com or buywake.com and go crazy!! I'd recommend an instructional movie series called "the book", then, you'll still have som dough left for another sweet pickup. but a handle would be sick too. im sure that if he's as obsessed as you say he is, he'll love anything that has to do with the sport.

Question : Is there a difference between wakeboarding ropes and water skiing ropes?
I have a water skiing rope and want to start wakeboarding. Do i have to buy a rope specifically made for wakeboarding or can i use the water skiing rope?
Answer:
i'm a 2 year wakeboarder after waterskiing my entire life...I didn't think I would be able to tell a difference in ropes. the stretch you get from a ski rope is there fo a reason. I couldn't believe i could feel the difference. If you are going to spend any amount of time on a wakeboard go ahead and buy the rope.

Question : What are some inexpensive boats for wakeboarding?
I am looking to purhcase a boat for wakeboarding within a 3-6000 price range. What are boats that I could buy that still put off a good wake?
Answer:
any family runabout that is older. an I/O or a v-drive. beginner wake boarders really don't need much wake. it can actually slow the learning process by giving too much air. an older boat will throw more wake than a newer one (except wake specific boats). you can always add fat sacs or other type of weight to enhance your wake later. don't go out board or inboard or jet drive as those produce minimal wakes.
