Just what we needed

It was hard finding size 12 water shoes for my husband's aquatics therapy. These were reasonably priced and we figured that the Speedo name would mean decent quality. They have been just perfect for him: comfortable, great fit and excellent quality.

Good House Slipper For Damp Climate

I've been wearing these water shoes as "house slippers" for the past 10 years. Sure, they eventually wear out, but I have found that they are a great, inexpensive, all-purpose, all-weather, indoor/outdoor shoe suitable for year-round wear in a damp climate. I haven't noticed the odor/poor durability issues mentioned by other reviewers, but remember: these are designed as water shoes for beach wear. Anything more that you get from them should be considered a bonus. I've been getting my bonus for 10 years, based on daily wear - and especially yard work in sometimes wet and soggy, coastal Georgia. I go through 2 or 3 pairs a year; however, in my opinion - for the amount of wear that I DO get out of them - they are well worth the money.

I'm usually a tight size 11, but the 11 is very loose. I don't remember halfsizes so if doing over I probably would have ordered a 10.

Aquatik water shoes

I was very pleased when I received my Aquatik Water Shoes. I did as suggested and purchased a size smaller, and they fit perfectly. I have not made it to the sea yet, but I am sure they will be just what I wanted. When I walked around with them, they are comfortable, The uppers are really soft without any irritating places that could rub your foot. For someone with really sensitive feet, these are just "what the doctor" ordered! Thanks again Amazon.

FLIMSY-DON'T BUY IT

I'VE PURCHASED THIS SHOES FOR MY AQUA FIT CLASS. THEY ARE SUPER WIDE, SIZE IS REALLY BIG, HAD TO BUY AN INSOLE...IF YOU DECIDE TO BUY THIS SHOES, I WOULD RECOMMEND TO GET AT LEAST 1.5 SIZE SMALLER. VELCRO FELT OFF AFTER 3 MONTH, I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT.

Not so great

I did not find these shoes to run big at all. I ordered one size down as instructed and my toes were right at the end of the shoes. My husband could not get the velcro to even touch-yes he has big feet but these were skimpy on him too. They are thin soled, no support. Ok for light duty, but not active water sports or really rocky areas. I returned them and didn't like the fact that I had to pay for return shipping even though Amazon said to order a size smaller than usual.

I bought a pair of the Aquatik Friskies aqua shoe because of the reviews. I was not disappointed. Order a size smaller. They fit well and were comfortable. I love the color. Wish they would make a shoe that would keep out the sand but that is probably wishful thinking.

Speedo Water Shoes

Works great when I use them for water aerobics but the inside lining comes up and bunches around my toes. I have to stop what I'm doing to reposition it.

Great Product, Great price

I bought this product prior to our vacation in Hawaii. For the price, this water shoe is great. It provided very good traction even when doing some easy hiking. It protected my feet when swimming in waters where there were a lot of exposed rocks. You definitely have to follow the shoe size guideline. One recommendation I have is to remove the shoe as soon as you can so you do not leave your feet inside a wet/damp environment. This is how my skin became mascerated and developed redness along the ball of my foot. I certainly do not attribute this to the product itself. I think this would happen with any water shoes I wear. I also bought my husband the same brand of water shoes for men and he wore it most of the time. He did not have any issue with skin masceration or redness on his feet. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Look good, work well

These water shoes look snazzy in two shades of blue, and are very comfortable and quite durable. There are two things to watch out for however:

1. Like most water shoes they tend to run big, so if you are a half size you may want to order the next size down.

2. Like all water shoes and rubber boots, the insoles are not glued into place. I always take mine to the shoe repair shop and get the insoles glued into place before I start wearing them, otherwise the insole curls up and folds up inside the shoe after a few wearings.

Great Sandal

Great water shoes!

They are very comfortable and easy to put on. My daughter has tried on many types and this one is of the better ones. Even being a 1/2 size larger it still fits well. She will get 2 seasons out of it.

I bought these shoes for my son to wear on the beach in Aruba.
Aruba's beach sands are soft, but I was worried about the dog worm
and also hard objects underwater. I bought one size up
so he can wear for the coming summer. These shoes are awesome!

Even though it's one size up, the shoes stay put and my son walks
and runs with them as if they were part of his feet.
It's very durable. Almost the entire 1 week
he was wearing the shoes both on the land and in water.
We haven't had him wear this in chlorinated swimming pool, so
I don't know how it'll tolerate chlorine.
But it tolerated sun and salt and toddler abuse.
We were able to dry the shoes overnight for him to wear the next day.

The one drawback about these type of
closed shoes is that the sands get in there rather easily yet hard to
get rid of them when it's wet.

I bought these for my grandson for an upcoming trip to an indoor waterpark. We've purchased these before for him in smaller sizes and they are great. He loves them. They stay on in the water and he's never barefoot.

shoe bed liner curled up and came out right away

Too bad as these shoes are nice looking and fit well. After only three brief uses, the top fabric layer of the shoe bed liner curled up in one shoe - and completely came out in the other. Frustrating as my son is reluctant to wear them now.

They're durable, (look) comfortable, and seem to do the job they were intended to. Our two-year old loved them on a recent trip to Hawaii, and could comfortably go in the pool and ocean without complaining about stubbing her feet. I'd purchase them again.
