Excellent red light

Bought two of these for daughters electric razor scooters. Very bright and easy to see, these flash or stay on constant. They definitely improve the visibility of the kids at night.

A must-have for safety- SUPER bright!

I ordered two for my and my wife's bikes. No instructions were included but it only took a minute to figure out that you need to remove the red cover to put in the 2 INCLUDED AAA batteries. I really like that these run on AAA instead of lithium batteries due to ease and cost of replacement.

Mounting was very simple for our Raleigh & Trek bikes - right on the seat post. My only concern is that after tightening the screws the whole unit is a little wobbly. This shouldn't be an issue since they are situated under and protected by the seats.

I tested the 'steady' and 'blink' functions which worked fine. The lights are amazingly bright so don't look directly at them when you put the batteries in. Visibility is excellent and you could definitely use this during the day. At night you may be mistaken for some sort of emergency vehicle. At any rate - great for safety. I highly recommend.

Simply cannot be beaten for [...] bucks.

I keep mine on the seatpost, where it can be easily turned on and off without dismounting. Cargo on my rear rack blocks it from view, however, so in that event I just unclip it from the mount and strap it to my rear reflector with some bands of rubber cut out of an old innertube.

Surprisingly small, but ergonomic

This bottle size was definitely the perfect size for towing to class and the gym. It does not hold a huge amount, but nothing that I couldn't refill at a nearby water fountain. However, this bottle would definitely not be big enough for long treks or hikes.

I have several of these Nalgene bottles at home and I simply love them! The bottles are odorless, sturdy, and come in such fun colors. I take them to work, to the gym, mall, theater, etc. in place of a disposable plastic water bottle. Maneuvering the bottle cap can be a bit awkward at first but I've gotten used to it and now it's a non-issue. BPA-free makes these bottles a no-brainer to buy!

If you're looking for a sturdy, wide mouth, BPA-free water bottle, this product from NALGENE is what you need. Chances are, you've found this item after searching for an alternative to plastic water bottles. The NALGENE Tritan is the perfect choice, with a nice selection of colors available.

Note: The cap must be unscrewed and fully removed to open the bottle, but it is conveniently attached so you won't lose it. Do your research when purchasing your water bottle (this might not be the best bottle to carry with you when riding a bike), then buy the Tritan. It's definitely one of the best. Highly recommended.

Used to be nicer

This is my second Nalgene. I threw my first one out because it wasn't BPA-free. I noticed the cap is cheaply constructed and doesn't feel as sturdy as the old ones. It screws on crooked. I'm nervous that it'll leak in my bag but so far it's been alright.

Goodbye Dasani!

I used to bring a commercial water bottle (Dasani) to work and reuse it for the entire week. Then I found out about BPAs and that Dasani was actually filtered tap water. Bottled water is basically only for emergencies since faucet water in Hawaii is potable.

This 32 oz bottle works perfectly for work and saves me money since it is reusable (also good for the environment, etc). Durability, design, and style is great so far. Highly recommend.

Better than I had first thought

This light is just a bit smaller than I thought it was, (the picture made me think it was bigger) however, that makes no difference. It's STILL as bright as the other reviewers said it was, (more for 'BEING seen', than 'seeing') but I had it on flash mode (which I usually do) and I could see it reflecting in signs (stop, playground, crosswalk, street, etc.) at least 2-3 blocks away, and this was only at dusk, with a little sunlight still peeking through! This light may be small (which I like by the way) but it STILL gives off some VERY decent light. Since a few people mentioned that it had a bad mount, I wanted to test that. The mount itself IS rather touchy, and would seem to break easily. I think 'Planet Bike' should work on that design. OTHERWISE, after I mounted it, (I needed to use some electrical tape to space it, and a 'zip tie' to keep the clip on the 'quick-cam mount' in place) I took it down some rough roads to see if it would stay in place, and it DID! it's a good light, and though I have'nt exposed it to rain, yet (albeit I ride everyday,) i'd recommend to anyone!

This is a well constructed light that is easy to install. It is also very easy to temporarily remove for theft prevention. The customer service is also excellent - the company replaced a part we accidentally lost in a quick and easy transaction. We will continue to buy more products from Planet Bike!!

This light can't be beat for the bargain it is, but if you are looking for more visibilty, so as not to get hit by someone like an A.D.D. driver texting a message far more important than your human life, you might want to look into another light or mount two of these. I mounted two, (they are really narrow, two fit just fine and you can flash one and burn the other steady). They use 2 AA batteries and have a long run time, also the lights detach right off the quick mounts and are pocket size.

I am thrilled!

I purchased this light for my new mobility scooter (TravelScoot) and have attached it to the space at the top of the T bar. It was easy to attach and tighten, yet I can still tilt it to adjust where the beam lands. It's easy to turn on and off. Being able to remove the light to use as a flashlight is also a great feature.

Great product for the price

I bought two of these and used them once so far. They fulfill the purpose, makes the biker visible from a distance. In addition, I've detached and used them as lights when tent-camping and found them very useful. There batteries seem to last a long time and I am using regular alkalines.

Perfect Pump

I've used this to fill bicycle and car tires, and it's performed exactly as it should. Due to my own gooberish tendencies, it took me a few minutes to figure out how to connect the hose to the valve, but it's really as simple as pushing the thing on the valve and lifting the lever (I was trying to make it more complicated). The pump fills bike tires rapidly and car tires in less time than it takes to use an electric pump. The built in gauge is as accurate as my separate tire pressure gauge, and makes it a lot easier to inflate tires to the appropriate pressure. This was a purchase I'm happy to have made. If I were to make one suggestion for improvement, the gauge markings could be a little bigger so they were easier to read.

Great pump!

I've had the same pump for 10 years. I recently bought a road bike and couldn't pump more than 100psi into the tires without it leaking or becoming impossible to pump. This pump is awesome. The pump is very sturdy. The hose is long enough to reach anything easily and attaches just as easily. Took me one try to learn how to position the nozzle correctly. Once's in place, I didn't hear any air leaking. Pumping up to 120psi was a piece of cake! Pumped up all the other tires in the garage as well!

This is a true bike pump. For the price of the cheap ones at Performance Bike, you can order this extremely well-made pump. The first thing I did with it was pump up my hybrid tires (110 psi), and it worked wonderfully! I don't understand how it's supposed to work with schrader valves though (I'm sure the manual says, but I forgot where I threw it). I used a schrader adapter to presta, and pumped up a car tire with it. It took a good 100 pumps to get it to 50psi, but IT'S A CAR TIRE! This is a wonderful pump - it's cheap, robust, and the gauge works perfectly. I would definitely buy it.

Solid Bargain Pump, Good for a Backup/Emergency

This bike pump is very cheap, and provides a decent value for emergency use or for topping off your bike tires every once in a while. I would not recommend purchasing this as your primary method for inflating bike tires - it takes a lot of time to fill a tire from scratch. Since I've purchased this product, there hasn't really been a time that I've used it instead of the larger pump I keep in my basement - other than just to try it out. I do have it mounted to my bike just in case I run into trouble while out on a ride, but this situation hasn't come up yet. The mounting mechanism is well-done - simple, easy, and a solid fit.

I'd recommend this product as a great budget item for topping off or emergency use, but would not advise buying it as your primary bike pump. It makes a great backup.

Not bad for a small pump...

Honestly, Schwinn's frame pump is a lot better than carrying a standard size pump on your back! It's nice and compact that it can also fit well into your cargo shorts, so what are the odds of that? This versatile pump is able to pump both Presta and Schrader valves, and still is able to have additional adapters attached to the head of the pump. Like an adapter to pump a basketball for the Schrader portion of the pump (if you know what I mean)...

All in all, the small pump is great all around, but it'll take you a while to air up whatever you are trying to pump vs a standard pump that takes half the time. I still recommend this pump not only because of its price, but for its two for one pump design. It helped me out in a emergency flat situation while biking out on the road, it's good knowing that I have purchased a pump that's well mounted onto my bike frame.

It's definitely worth the purchase if you are a frequent rider.

Reasonable value and performance. This has a large volume/stroke and so pumps-up a tire quickly but getting the tire pressure high (i.e. hard tire) requires a lot of force for the last strokes. Not recommended for ladies or the weak of biceps!

This is a great back-up for travel

I have had this on my Schwinn Prelude road bike ever since I once had a popped tire from falling and had to walk all the way home because I had no patches nor pump. It can pump up a tire enough to have get you home, but you can't pump a whole lot of pressure with this because you can't get as much force on the handle since it is not sitting on the ground and you can't use both hands. In other words you still need to have a regular pump at the house, but this is a good back-up for when you're on the move and can't tote a stand-up pump. I love how easy it is to use on both Presta valves and Schrader valves (You don't have to screw on an adapter or anything like some of the competitors' pumps that I have seen.) It is also fairly easy to mount--all you do is take of the water bottle holder on your bike and put it back on with this under the holder.
