Cute slippers...but sizing is WAY off...

I realize dance slippers run small, so I ordered my niece an ENTIRE size up from her normal. Still way too small. I would seriously recommend you order a size, maybe even two sizes up from what your little one normally wears..

Great for little ballerinas - but runs a little small

This is clearly a well made ballet shoe. It's pretty and very comfortable for my daughter. She likes it a lot. I did find that the size runs just a little small - not just snug leather, but actually too small. We had them stretched and she wears them to practice at home. Then we bought a larger size that fits perfectly for dance class. I would recommend this shoe to anyone with the suggestion that we buy a little larger than our child's current size.

Excellent Ballet shoe

the Capezio Little Kid/big Kid Daisy Ballet shoes are very nicely made. The sizes run a hair small, so order about 1/2 size larger than shoe size. I ordered 2 sizes,not knowing which would fit from previous reviews.I ordered 1/2 size and 1 full size larger than her current shoe size. This worked to my advantage as my child is still growing and out grew the first pair within the first 2 weeks, so we were able to use both pairs, just not for very long with a growing kid. The product is worth the money in my opinion as they are well made. And according to our Ballet teacher, they were also properly made, with the strap in the correct place.

Great ballet shoe for my tiny dancer

We originally purchased these in a specialty dance shop. When it came time for the next size, Amazon's price was awesome. My 4-year old's feet are narrow, and these were a perfect fit (we got the Narrow style). You can tighten them a little by pulling and tying the string, and the elastic band that goes over the top of her foot isn't too tight or too loose. The shoe holds up great, the color is nice (we have pink), and my little ballerina loves them! You usually can't go wrong with Capezio dance products. Make sure you try them on in a local store before purchasin, so that you get the correct size & don't waste money on shipping a return.

Love Capezios !!!!

Excellent shoes!! I bought these shoes for Zumba and love them. The difference between wearing capezios and regular tennis shoes for Zumba class is amazing. Great cushion and support. I passed the Amazon link for these shoes on to all the ladies in my class. Do keep in mind that the sizes run smaller than street tennis shoes. I normal wear a 7.5, ordered the Capezio in 8.5 and it is a perfect fit.

Good shoe for Zumba

Good shoe for Zumba class - smoother on bottom to help pivot without hurting your knees. A little hard in the sole, so a little less comfortable. Definitely a little narrow width. I wear an 8-8.5, got the 9, & think maybe I should have bought the 9.5 due to the width!! Still a decent shoe.

Ensure Proper Sizing


I'm a male that normally wears a 11.5 street shoe. I ordered the 13.5 Dansneaker & it fit perfectly. I ordered it bigger than recommended because I wanted to use the shoes right away & avoid a painful "break in" period. A good rule of thumb is that if the shoes require a break in period that means they're too small to begin with, and you should go a bit bigger. They should be comfortable as soon as you put them on your feet (If they're not, don't get them).

For the record I also ordered a Capezio Women's Groove sneaker in size 13 and it was too small.

The Dansneaker is lightweight & very comfortable. This shoe should be listed as unisex, because it's a stylish and appropriate dance shoe for either gender. Perfect for Zumba, Salsa, or any type of dancing.

Perfect for Zumba!

These dance sneakers are perfect for Zumba! My feet hurt badly just wearing cross trainers, but after getting these, I was just fine! Great construction and even better flexibility where you need it! The price is also much lower than other brands for the same exact thing....great deal!

Great shoe for a great price.

I ordered these shoes with free super-saver shipping. There must be a nearby service center because the package arrived in 2 days. I am so delighted to receive these early! I shopped around for Zumba shoes and dance sneakers for a week before choosing this item - a stylish dance sneaker at a good price. I really wanted red shoes, but found none in my size for a reasonable price that I liked. These came laced with black laces, and included a second pair of red shoe laces which "add the flavour" with the other red accents on the heel and tongue. I ordered 1 size up from my street size based on other reviews and my medium width foot. The shoes looked small in the box, but are a perfect fit. I will update my review after I Zumba in them for a week.

Sansha's "Pro" original canvas split-sole ballet slipper. The sole is fully hand stitched and thread does not appear on the outside of the shoe, so it will not wear out. This also means the sole is flush with the upper, so there is nothing to catch on the floor. Crisscross elastics attached at heel.

Love them!!

I am a adult ballet beginner. Thess are my first ballet slippers, at first I was skiptical about buying these slipper beause the straps do not come attached and I dont know how to sew, but that is just a minor problem. I am a 6.5 in street size, so I bought a 6 just like it was recommended. At first they felt a little tight, but after dacing in them they streched and now feel great.

Nice Shoes

I usually wear a size 9-9.5 in women's US sizes. After reading the reviews on Amazon, I decided to try ordering a size 11M, and they fit me perfectly. I think these will be a great pair of shoes, very satisfied so far. We'll see if my large toenail wears through the thin canvas, though.

Watch out for the size, but a very well made shoe

I am a size 9.5 and I wear a size 11 perfectly. It should be snug, but you need to be able to get your foot in. So buy one to two sizes up from your normal shoe size. Other than that it was very comfortable, didn't dirty quickly and have yet to wear out (four months and many ballet classes later).

Canvas Dance Shoes

These are perfect for Folk Dancing. The elastic ties are already sewn on. The sizes run small. I wear a US Women's 10 1/2, Men's 9 1/2, and the dance shoe size 11 was WAY too short. About 1/2 inch too short. Also, you cannot exchange. Refund only.

Nice Ballet Slippers

Nice construction. Allows gripping and sliding on the floor as needed. I wear 4.5/5 in regular shoes so I ordered 5 narrow and they were a little bit loose, but definitely workable by adjusting the elastic straps. Order came super fast and nicely packaged!

My 3 year old absolutely loves them!

I received these yesterday morning, and my little girl loved them so much! She wore them most of the day and even tried to sleep in them! After reading the other reviews, I ordered these a full size larger than her usual Stride Rite size, and they fit well with about a half size of growing room. They appear to be well made with leather uppers and suede sole. Also, they arrived 3 days after I ordered when selecting just the regular shipping method.

finally a small shoe that fits

Trying to find a little shoe that will stay on your daughters foot? look no further. My daughter wears a regular 7 shoe and I bought the smallest size, which was an 8. These run small so buy one size bigger. They arrived in three days. Their snug around her little foot and The soft leather molds to her foot. Can be wore with or without tights. The leather bottom is secure to the tight stitching and made to withstand a workout. The string tie and elastic band top are also both secure and the price was $8.00 cheaper than the two dance studios near my house. With free shipping from my amazon prime, I will be ordering another pair in black.

Granddaughters love them

These were a Christmas gift for our 3 granddaughters. They are just 6 and 4 and do not yet take formal ballet lessons. The shoes are just for playing ballet with their new ballet barre and practice tape.

I ordered this on the Feb 1st and it reached me on the 4th just in time for my Zumba class on the 5th. These shoes are awesome and thanks to previous reviewer feedback, ordered a size up and they fit perfectly. They are so cool looking too.. Does anyone know if I can wear them outside of the dance classes or are these strictly for the class. :) Thank you so much!

Saved my feet!!!

These shoes are my savior. I'm a dancer and two years ago I started having a lot of pain in my feet. Turned out I had arch tendinitis. Doctor said "You may not be able to do as much dancing as you'd like". Wha what? I started wearing these every time I dance (except performing) and I've been fine ever since (I had to stop wearing flip flops, too). I dance as much as I like. And I've probably gotten at least 20 other dancers into these shoes, as well.

Sizing is impossible to determine

There is no way to guess which size you need for this product. I read other reviews and made a best guess for the size I wear and what I might wear in this product. I was way wrong. You get your money back for the product, but you lose the shipping cost for them shipping to you (Amazon is not the shipper) and then it costs you to return the item. I will never buy another product from this dance shoe company.
