Editorial Review :
RACE NUMBER BELT for triathlons, marathons or running races. This new, black, one-inch wide elastic race belt has snaps to attach your race number and an adjustable buckle to fit any waist. Brand new in sealed package. Here are some of the advantages of using this BELT: * No pins needed to attach race number. * Just snap number onto belt (Snaps work through number material or through number holes) * Fits any size race number, number can now be worn higher for more visibility. * Triathletes: belt and number can easily be worn tucked into swimsuit or worn under wetsuit for faster transitions (Nothing to rust) * 1 inch elastic (adjustable to fit all), with a black side release buckle and 2 snaps to hold race number. * Low profile and light weight (1.1 ounces) Instructions: 1. Adjust belt to fit around waist. 2. Open belt and place face up on hard surface. 3. Peel off 2 center snaps. 4. Place number in desired position over center snaps on belt. 5. Place the snaps over the number, and press firmly.

Not for every race
I really like this belt, but so far I haven't been able to use it. The numbers that I have recieved for the last 3 races had holes that were too small to use this belt with. The concept is good and the quality is good, but I have no idea how it works while running. I wish that it came with different sizes.

Race Belt
We thought this would be a great gift for an avid race runner in our family, however when we received it and tried to get the number on it we couldn't. The buttons where the holes should fit are too big for the race number holes and every time we tried the number would rip.

Great Triathlon Shorts
These shorts feel great for a girl that is looking for minimum clothing for racing. The pad inside is not big or bulky, and felt great when swimming, biking, and running. Although it is very short, I felt like I was covered up enough and never felt exposed.

The Racer-back cut is reinforced with an extra layer of 2-way stretch mesh
Customer Review :
Great shorts.
I do a lot of recreational running & cycling. These shorts fit great & are well made.
They have just enough padding front & back: from the back there is no bulging padding, but they're comfortable on the bike. From the front they are snug so everything is kept nicely in place to avoid chafing, but they don't let everyone know your religion...
I'm not a fan of loose or oversized running gear, and I like to keep my kit to a minimum, so typically I'm in lycra/spandex bike shorts, which can be problematic in the modesty department. These shorts don't have that problem. They are comfortable, minimal, functional & good looking. Very happy with my purchase & just ordered another pair.

triathlon wetsuie
i received this product very quickly (as always with amazon). we did a team triathlon and this suit was lightweight an perfectly suited for a swim in the ocean. along with the warmth the suit provided, it also made me feel more buoyant in the water. i felt the suit size ran a little bit small - you might want to go up one size when purchasing this product.

Editorial Review :
Features of this wonderful suit include: Maximum thickness allowed by triathlon?s world governing body - Maximum buoyancy and performance - Maximum Buoyancy and Flexibility: 5mm Speed Skin neoprene at the chest panel means maximum floatation where you need it most. Elsewhere NeoSport uses a blend of 3mm and 2mm neoprene to maintain lightweight flexibility in critical areas. Wide Arm Openings that promote unrestricted range of motion. The arm rotation area is constructed with durable nylon laminated neoprene trimmed in soft Lycra, which provides a comfortable and secure seal that minimizes unwanted water entry. Quick-Exit EZ Out Zipper Pull, making speedy transitions a snap. Our zipper pull stays out of your way during the swim but is easy to find when every second counts. NeoSport?s adjustable collar locks out water and provides a perfect personal fit for no unwanted scooping. The smooth and narrow design cuts down on chafe and increases hydrodynamics. Mid-Calf Leg Opening: Swim and transition times are reduced with flexible mid-calf leg openings. Raised placement means improved kick with less water resistance. Wider openings reduce heel snag and speed up suit removal. AUTHORIZED DEALER, FULL WARRANTY!!!

Great Service, Great TriSwim Suit
My husband was excited to receive this for his Christmas present. He is a nationally ranked triathlete and used this at the Regional Senior Games in March 2009. He will be wearing it in August for the National Senior Games in California. We are impressed with how easy it is to put on and take off which is super important during the transition time.

Great beginner WetSuit!
Great value for a beginner wetsuit. Used it in tow races already (once in ocean and once in lake) and it has worked well!

Question : i need help losing weight?? getting ready for triathalon, mma, fitness trainer?
i am a female. 18yrs old. 123lbs and 5'3 1/2''.first i dislike my body and want to lose weight?im doing a triathlon in 2 months so need to cut weight and up endurance?im in mma and kickboxing so i need some strength training ideas?i want to become a body trainer but the lady i want to work for says i hv to work on my body before i can be hired. my goal is 105/110lbs. i know for the bmi this is unhealthy but i think its a little overrated. i run about 2-5 miles everyday and do a lot of ab work but i would like some ideas on different exercises or/and different things to eat that r healthy and good for the body. what r the best ab exercises? how far should i be running? (triathlon is 13miles). How many calories should i be eating? and does drinking vinegar, cannen pepper, or such help lose weight? important vitamins/minerlas i should take?
Answer:
Eating celery, fish and salad will help a lot when wanting to lose weight. They are not magical foods that make you lose weight, but by eating those you will not eat stuff that does make you gain weight.Same as drinking water instead of drinking beer,., wine, carbonated drinks.

Question : Will my current fitness routine have adverse effects on my health?
I am a 15 year old girl, and I am 5 foot 7 and weigh 100 pounds. I have extremely limited body fat, and have lost about 9 pounds in the last 2 months due to extreme exercise. I'm training for a triathlon, and workout intensely everyday. For example, today I swam 2 miles, ran 2 miles, and lifted weights. I eat about 1000 calories a day of only fruits, vegetables, and fish, no processed foods or dairy. I also do have a bowl of oatmeal (natural) with soymilk in the morning. I am extremely muscular and in shape, but is this lifestyle bad for me in the long run?

Question : Good starting road bikes suggestions and measurements?
I currently ride a Mountain bike for exercise but looking to get a road bike for various competitions. (Triathlons/MS150) My main goal is just fitness and doing them for fun so am not worried about getting a triathlon bike. I am looking at craigslist since price is an issue. I have to stay under $1000 but looking closer to $500-800 range. What are some decent bikes under a grand. I am 6' foot weighting 165. I see measurements on bikes and unsure what size bike I should be getting. Thank you
Answer:
You will be around a 56/57 cm frame, see the bike shop for correct fit.For your money check out Fuji and Bianchi -- they both have some good deals. Trek is a good make, but seem to be harder to find a deal. If you have a large Trek store in your area with a lot of stock they may be more willing to deal. Specialized has some really great higher end machines but like Trek dealers they are hard to dicker down.Look for something with at least Shimano 105 components, Ultegra is the next step up. Some bikes will have a mix. Ultegra rear derailleur and 105 front. As long as 105 is your base you are getting a good entry level race bike.Don't be shocked when you show up to race and find out your competition has bikes 4 to 5 times the value you have budgeted for yourself. Remember, if you are great -- an entry level bike is all you need.

Question : Fittest U.S. Presidents, Where does Obama and McCain fit?
The 10 fittest presidents:1. Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809): This dude was buff -- tall, sinewy, virile. He was an avid walker and horseman on his Monticello estate. He walked until his 83rd birthday.2. Teddy Roosevelt (1901-1909): He wrestled, boxed, fenced, rock-climbed, engaged in jujitsu, played tennis, rode horseback and hiked. Still, he died at age 60.3. Obama (2008-2016): At 47, he plays basketball with his secret service agents almost every morning. He will build the state of the art gym in the White House, with an indoor track and professional swimming pool. 4. George W. Bush (2001-present): He mountain-bikes, runs and lifts weights. His resting pulse is 44.5. Herbert Hoover (1929-1933): He used to have Cabinet members toss a medicine ball back and forth during meetings on the South Lawn. He handled the stress of the Great Depression, living 31 years after leaving office.6. Jimmy Carter (1977-1981): Before George W., he was the top presidential runner and tennis player. The only mar on his record was when he collapsed during a 10K.7. John Q. Adams (1825-1829): Most mornings, he'd do his own version of a triathlon (walk several miles, ride horseback, swim in the Potomac River). Someone once stole his pants from the shore, and Mrs. Adams had to go to the White House to retrieve some trousers.8. Abraham Lincoln (1861-1865): At a wiry 6-foot-4, Lincoln won his county wrestling title in Illinois. Yes, he beat the fabled Jack Armstrong, too. Legend has it that, in his youth, he lifted a box of stones weighing 1,000 pounds.9. John Adams (1797-1801): He awoke at 5 a.m. each day for a five-mile walk. He used to burn calories by writing standing up at a podium. He was an avid horseman into his 80s.10. Harry Truman (1945-1953): An avid power walker, Truman would occasionally hold news conferences during his walks, leaving reporters gasping to keep up. He lived to age 88.10. George Washington (1789-1797): The father of our country got a lot of walking in during his early career as a surveyor. He survived smallpox, dysentery and malaria because of his strong constitution (6-foot-3, 200 pounds). He used to throw a ball around with troops during the war.#? John McCain: The 72 years old senator does light exercises with his hands before he goes to bed. He enjoys shaking hands with his supporters the next morning.I think fitness status is an important quality of selecting a president.GO USA!
Answer:
I think this entire question is ignorant. None of the above were tortured for years as a POW. The fact that you would use his physical ailments against him shows that you are a bigot. He survived being a prisoner of war and was tortured for his country. For me, that surpasses everyone above mentioned.I don't give a damn if Barack can jump tall buildings in a single bound...he is weak in the mind and in spirit.

Question : can I use weight training to lose pounds?
I am doing a heavy cardio regimen right now because weight loss is my final goal. I've lost 60 lbs as of now and still have 40 to go. I'm doing the second half of my weight loss with exercise. I'm up to running a mile and swimming 1/4 mile in sequence. I plan on running in a sprint triathlon in September as one of my weigh loss goals. My big question is this: Can I use weight training to lose fat weight? I'm a bulky male anyway, and put muscle mass on really quickly. Is there a way to get some decent muscle mass and still get to my goal weight? I started at 296 lbs, and I'm down to 236 presently. My goal is 195 for my build as well as my fitness goals. Any help from someone who has experience would be greatly appreciated!
Answer:
well you have to remember that muscle weighs more than fat, but you can lose inches while weight training. the most important part in burning fat is burning more calories than you take in, and you can do that through weight training.

Question : I'm training for triathlon...doing much more exercise than usual but i'm not looking any more toned?
In fact I seem to be carrying more body fat in the usual problem areas for women (abs and thighs). I've been conscious not to overeat and am naturally slim person...is this just part of the process?? My fitness is greatly improved and the training is otherwise going well.I didn't gain any weight at all...just seem to be less toned. I'm doing a lot of running and swimming....i cycle daily anyway. I am still doing core stability training and weights about once a week due to time constraints
Answer:
could you be on? women no matter how toned they are or how much work out they do always retain water and become bloated on the days leading upto their cycle, i do jujitsu and i get the same...mums been a fitness instructor, gym instructor, massuse, life guard and has run many marathons and she is exactly the same too...xdont get paranoid...if in doubt are you eating something you usually dont? it could be a food intolerance...like wheat...they usually make you a little bloated than usuall...hope it helps and good luck! i really feel for you and know how strenous it can be...dont get too stressed as this can also effect our training!!!x

Question : To all triathletes and those interested in triathlons?
Does a gym specializing in the exercise and coaching of triathletes seem appealing to you? The gym would have all standard weight training equipment as well as specialized equipment like endless pools, computrainers (cycle simulators), Vasa Ergometers, etc. It would also offer triathlon coaching, nutritional guidance, training plan creation, etc. for extra. As far was we know there is nothing like this and we want your input. Would you use something like this for around the price of a standard 24 hour fitness membership? Any feedback would be great.
Answer:
I think something like this would be a really great idea, however you'd want to get local tri and running clubs on board. A lot of them have partnerships with competing facilities and you'd likely want their support before jumping into an endeavor of this magnitude. There are a lot of possibilities with this. You could host indoor tris during the winter, sponsor local tris during the racing season, host educational seminars, invite the pros for a meet and greet...You'd just have to market it the right way for ultimate success. I'd definitely be interested. But the question is...do you have enough triathletes in your respective market to make it work. To break even how many active members would you have?
