An ultimate frisbee disc is a never fail toy for all occasions. Whether it be the beach, soccer field, or short passes in the back yard. And yes, the Discraft Ultra-Star really is the best in the ranks of Ultimate approved discs... the edges are smooth but rigid enough to make it easy to catch, the flight is always predictable and controllable, and with all those color choices everyone can find one to suit their fancy.

MUCH IMPROVED

THE LAST TIME I ORDERED A 6 CARD SHUFFLER IT CAME IN A HOME MADE BOX USING A DOMINOS PIZZA BOX. THE SHUFFLER LASTED ABOUT TWO WEEKS AND THEN STOPPED WORKING. WHEN I TRIED TO ANSWER THE RATING QUESTION I WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY COMPUTER SO I COULDN'T MAKE CONTACT AND TELL YOU WHAT I THOUGHT. I bought the shufflers for the girls in my Hand & Food Club. Some of them have arthritis and have difficulty shuffling cards with their hands. The shufflers are a great (however, noisy) solution. They love them.

Honestly, how is this game not more popular?

This game is amazing. If you enjoy frisbee & team lawn games, buy it right now. It's interactive, gets you moving a bit, and is really a lot of fun. Each and every person that has played it since I made the purchase loves it. It works a bit like horse shoes, but envision a game where you can help your team mate get a ringer or a leaner when their toss is a bit off (except with a frisbee). I would say my only complaint is that the frisbee is a bit on the firmer/harder side than many I am used to. When it hits your finger/hand the wrong way on a deflection, it's definitely capable of leaving a nice little bruise for the next day. Had it up for a bachelor party of 10 this weekend and we spent a ridiculous amount of time playing it. Great idea for a game & different from what's out there. Try it.

I learned about this game in up state Rochester NY. It sounds like such a stupid game when you tell people about it...until they all start playing heh. I live in NC and bought this game and when people hear about it they think it's stupid but all my friends now beg me to bring kan jam with me to all outside parties. It's a huge hit! People line up for hours to play this game! It's even better if you're all drinking ;)

We love the game for backyard parties and for the beach. The only negative thing I have to say about the official game is that it's overpriced for the 2 interlocking sheets of plastic and the throwing disc that make up this game. If you're creative, you could probably create your own game with small plastic barrels. Gotta hand it to the creators of the game--they must be making a ton of money!

Family get-together

I got this for a family weekend at the beach. There were 14 people in my house ages 8 to 70. There were 2 practicing or 4 playing steadily for 2 days and lots of strangers on the beach watching and asking where to get it.

I purchased this disc for my 18 yr. old son. His friends play ultimate frisbee after youth group, but would often have to quit because of darkness. Not only does this disc work after dark for the game, it looks very cool doing it!

Creative, Excellent for Night Frisbee-ing

The light up frisbee is a creative product and a lot of fun to play with at night. I had a blast playing some Ultimate Frisbee at night with this thing (players wear glow in the dark wristbands to differentiate teams). Great for any group activity that may take place in the dark. This is much better than frisbees made of 'glow in the dark' material in that you can see the light-up frisbee at night fairly well.

The frisbee is not regulation 'Ultimate Frisbee' size and the light 'switch' at the bottom is finicky and does turn itself off from time to time. The switch is a round knob under the disc that you twist and a slight knock can sometimes throw it into the off position. This can get annoying at times.

Frisbee is copyrighted, so when I say 'frisbee,' I mean "flying disc."

You get what you pay for.

This was a gift for my son's 12th birthday. We researched the poker sets for days and this one looked like a great deal. The package arrived two days before his birthday and when I opened the package I was immediately dissapointed in the case. The contents were fine but the case was put together very poorly and did not close correctly. I had to manipulate some of the metal around the edges so they would not cut anyone. If I had time to return it before his party I would have. Not happy with case, okay with chips and cards.

This turned out to be an outstanding set for my weekly hold 'em poker night. The chips are great, even though a few of them have some paint imperfections (which is not a big deal at all); they have a nice weight to them, which gives our game a nice professional feel, and they shuffle nicely. A couple of the chips in the set had some rough edges (by a couple, I mean two or three), but with 500 chips you have to expect a couple to have imperfections. Surprisingly, the cards that were included are pretty good; not the best cards I've played with, but definitely better than I thought they would be. The dealer button is good, but, come one, how can anybody screw up a dealer button? The button for the blinds are nice to have, but we never use them as the dealer button suits the purpose by itself.

The only problem I really had with the set, as everyone else has pointed out, is the case. Since my poker night changes houses every week, a sturdy case is necessary. The case, overall, is sturdy, but when I first opened it everything was placed incorrectly: the tray was flipped upside down, exposing the wood and having the felt on the bottom, and put on the wrong side of the case which made it difficult to close. Once I figured out it was assembled incorrectly, I fixed it and the case turned out to be great. I may consider upgrading to a better case, but this one is good for now.

Overall, don't hesitate to buy this set. If you're on a budget, you won't be disappointed--I'm actually surprised this set is not more expensive. For under $40, it is quite a deal.

Chips quality as per my expectations. The Aluminum case provided is really bad quality. First one was broken while shipping I had to return and get another one. When I lift the case with all the chips loaded it feels like the handle is going be break.

I searched for hours looking for a 500 pc set under $40 without shipping. This is the best way to go if you're looking for something and you're on a budget. The chips feel great. Perfect set for someone looking for something a little better than the plastic sets you'll find at the bargain stores.

Decent Product

The chips are not all that good. There are few which don't have smooth surfaces. They have some edges that you can see for products that are not very well finished.
Also, the case was broken when it arrived. Most of the partitions had all come off. It might have been because of mishandling while shipping, bu the packaging was definitely not good either.
