Editorial Review :
Now little kids can jump in the fun too with the Grow to Pro Pogo! Here's an update on a kid-favorite classic that brings pogo down to size for kids as young as 5 years. An extra big base helps beginners balance while learning to pogo and when they are ready to bounce like a pro it's easy to remove. Sure-grip handles are sized just right for smaller hands and the extra wide foot peddles make it easy for kids to keep on the stick! Weight limit 60 lbs. For ages five and older.

Fun
We have 7,8 and 9 year old children. None weigh over 60 pounds and I don't think it would work well for anyone over 70 pounds. All 3 of them enjoy the pogo stick. We have only used the green base which makes the pogo stick more fun for the beginners. They jump around our small back patio with no problem.

Great pogo stick starter!!
Great toy for those that want to pogo around, but just can't seem to find their balance quite yet. My son (6 yrs old) and daughter (10 yrs old) would always fight over her real pogo stick, so I bought this for my son's birthday. I was nervous about it not being big enough for him, but it fits him well and will teach him the balance he needs to move onto the next pogo stick level. After they have skilled their balance, the base is removable, which is a great feature.

pro pogo
My granddaughter loves it the only thing I am concerned with is the weight limit. She is almost at it but I think even if she is heavier it will be OK.

Great toy for the smaller kid.
My son is 5 years old and only 37lbs so I thought he would have a hard time using a pogo stick but after only a couple of minutes he was bouncing around. The base really helps him balance so he can bounce for longer. He loves this pogo stick but its not the safest toy, he has gotten hit in the face with it and fallen off a couple of times. I would recommend this toy for a very active child who is ok getting some bumps and bruises once in a while.

Pogo Stick
This is just the right size and structure for a six year old to learn on. Our granddaughter really likes it.

Pogo for Life
My 15 year old son has been wanting a pogo stick for a long time. We purchased this one at christmas. He enjoys jumping on it and trying to beat his jumping record each time. It also provides good exercise. It is strong enough for an adult to jump around on, but it is a lot harder than it looks.

Lost weight but at a cost
My 14 yr-old son LOVED this pogo stick....until it started bruisihng his inner thighs. He insulated the metal bars with foam and duct tape so it was more comfortable to use. He lost weight and tightened his abs--a great by product of simply wanting to do something fun. We were all thrilled!

Dont overuse!
When i first got this pogo stick, it worked fantastically, but i was constantly using it, and after about two months, the whole thing suddenly fell apart while i was jumping. So if you are going to be using this product a lot, invest in a better pogo stick! although if you are just occasionally going to be using it, its pretty good.
NOTE: DO NOT POGO INTO THE MUD WITH THIS EITHER! I DID A FEW TIME AND THE BOTTOM STOPPER FELL OFF AND I HAD TO REPLACE IT MULTIPLE TIMES WITH DUCT TAPE BALLS. DO NOT POGO INTO THE MUD!

Great item!
My son loves this pogo stick and hasn't stopped bouncing since Christmas. He wanted an upgrade from his old one and couldn't be happier. It is rated for over 120 lbs. and my son is only 90, but since he already was good at it, it works fine. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner under 100 lbs, though.

Wow, what fun!
Very well built! Works great! Lots of fun!
I hadn't been on a pogo stick since I was about 12. I weigh 220# which is a little more than the rating of this pogo stick (210#). I can bottom it out after three or four hard jumps. But otherwise I can bounce smoothly as long as I want. It's very well balanced and has lots of smooth spring action and is easy to use.

Super fun! Super gift!
I recently purchased this pogo stick for my grandson's 10th birthday. It is very sturdy, made well, colorful and turned out to be loads of fun for him. I would recommend this to anyone looking to give a child a unique way to play and have them achieve a bit of exercise too. AA++

Love It!
My son is 12 and he loves this toy! You have to make sure it is blown up all the way. He hops all over the house. It takes some practice, but once you get it, you can hop all around. My son also has autism, so he loves the sensory input he gets from this. Great for winter when we can't go outside on the trampoline.

LOVED it as a kid
Ok, I am the generation who had this toy when it came out brand new and I absolutely loved it and am so excited it came out for my 5 girls to try. I used it constantly!! Of course the bottom did scrape up but it never broke or wore through. I think the lighter kids have more trouble getting a good bounce than the heavier kids. And I think this is easier to use than the pogo ones. And don't jump on it with wet shoes or feet! Good cardio and good to teach balance. I used it at around age 12. Never had trouble with the ball coming out.

Great for a coordinated kid
My son got this for Christmas. It took a day or two of perserverance for him to get the hang of it, and he uses it daily for long periods now. He can bounce and turn 360 degrees, bounce and touch the top of the doorway, bounce and hop over a vacuum or a toy...he travels from room to room. He has mild ADHD, and this is a great way of getting out excess energy while still being able to watch tv or talk to other people. It's great exercise. I'm going to get him another one to use outside, because I would imagine it will get quite dirty in the driveway.
He is the type of kid who is very good on a bike and skates, and I would think that children that are less confident with gross motor skills would find this toy a bit harder. The reviews for moon shoes, which he wanted, look too risky to me.

disappointed
My daughter saw this item on TV and it was on the top of her Christmas list. But it as been a Big disappointment. Its very hard to get to bounce and when you do, it doesn't bounce but a couple of inches off the ground. She has Moon shoes and they are great and easy to use. I guess we thought the moonhopper would be similar. The moon hopper was a big thumbsdown.

Simple Steps: Place Bungee base on the floor while holding onto handle Step up onto Bungee base with one foot and get your balance then pull tether taut Place your second foot on Bungee, pull up on tether, start jumping, and Away You Go!

We will be returning it
My nine year old daughter who is a very active child and loves active toys, found this to be very very disappointing. She already owns actual pogo sticks and is quite skilled on them .. we were hoping for an active toy she could use indoors or possibly on the hard dirt in our back, but the bungee jumper just thudded, was hard work and not too much fun - and was the same when I tried it ... maybe it was her height or her weight, maybe it would work well if you were a certain size, but was very disappointing for us.

OK - not quite as durable as I thought - but good buy for the money

Lame!
"Lame" was the word my husband used when he saw the kids using this toy. My 6 year old (who's gift it was) could hardly make it move and lost interest immediately. My older children (7,9,11, and even 16) tried it and found it unexciting, difficult, and too much work for little pleasure. This is a waste of man-made material that will exist in a land-fill till the end of time.

it is ok
hard to get going..kids lost interest quickly. doesn't go very high, but that is why I bought it, I didn't want them to hurt themselves. Now it lays in the garage, covered with spider webs.
