Honesty, I bought these for kinnky reasons....They are so sturdy, intimidating, discreet and actually quite comfortable for legit hand cuffs. They are on the heavy side, but for normal use that would probably be a benefit.

Great ninja shoes!

I got these shoes with the intention of using them for free running. But after wearing them, I find them great for everyday wear as well as for free running. They have a thin sole that can take some getting used to, but that forces good form. It took a while for the intense rubber smell to wear away, but at this price you can't beat them. If walking on pavement a lot, they may wear quickly, but they seem to hold up quite well. No rips, tears, or separations. They are as tough some much more expensive shoes I've had.

I love these shoes! They're soft and comfy and I wear them EVERYWHERE. I got them to do Tai Chi but found myself wearing them all around. They're snug to my feet but flexible and the sole are extra grippy.

Love it!

Display is easy to read, hot pink color makes it easy to find when I've mislaid it. The clasp is very secure. I love that it uses "more common" batteries that I always keep on hand, so no special runs to the store to replace them.

Unreliable

I bought this little timer and when it works, I really like it. It's not very intuitive, but I am a gadget geek so it isn't too bad setting it and working it. If you get stuck, there are videos on Utube. I like the option for vibrate as well as the 2 volume settings for the timers. Nice. I also like the hot pink color and sticky rubber coating on it. The digits are large so they are easy to see while working out.

The not so good is that this thing is it's unreliable. In the middle of a client workout, the darn thing stopped working. Zilch, CaPooey, Nada. It totally blanked out. I had a brand new battery in it and it just died. I was NOT jolting it or bouncing it around or abusing it in any way either. Matter of fact, I was just standing and supervising my client when it died. This was only the 4th time I had used it too. I didn't have a pin or paperclip to reset it either. So, I pulled out the battery and put it back in and it re-booted my timer. This is very inconvenient because if you are in the middle of a workout, it's a drag to stop the entire workout and have the person rest and wait for you while you're fiddling around with it, pulling out the battery and resetting it . It worked well for me about 5 more times after that and then one day I just couldn't turn it on. I figured maybe the battery was older than I thought as the pack had been sitting in my drawer for about 6 months before I took it out to put it in the timer. I put a brand new battery in it again. I forgot about the reset. It didn't work. Then, I remembered and alas, I reset the darn thing. It worked. What a hassle. I'm really disappointed in it because it is unreliable. I can't be at work with clients and then have it die. It's just a cheap piece of equipment. Maybe the other one I bought will be more reliable. What can you expect for 20 bucks?

I love this little timer! It is easy to set, and easy to read. I am always setting something down and losing it, but because of the hot pink color, I can find this one. I use it for tabata training. Great product!

These wraps are very durable. The velcro on them started falling off after using them for a while but other than that they feel and look great. I even wore them to school! They were a little short but not that big of a problem if you are just messing around with your friends. Like i said, great product. Thanks for your time.

perfect for mma

Great product. Small enough to fit into mma gloves and less material in your palm than the 180 inch wraps. This is naturally better for grappling. Obviously not meant for heavy bag use unless you also use your mma gloves too.

Watch Out!

These handwraps are very short. 108" is not the ideal length and I was very unhappy to find this out. I would suggest a much longer handwrap. Especially if you're a beginner, like myself, you need much longer handwraps for the support because longer handwraps allow you to have cross-finger support as well as the much needed wrist support. DON'T BUY. GET LONGER HANDWRAPS!!

Good Quality Hand Wraps - Recommended

This set contains three sets of 108" Everlast Hand Wraps in Red, Black, and White colors. I was concerned about the shorter length of these since I have large to X-large hands and need to have good wrapping to support my wrists. These were just the right the size, covering my wrists and knuckles with several layers. While others have noted that the 180" length wraps provide better protection, I find that is too much material to have under my light gloves for heavy bag work and light contact sparing.

The material is good quality and doesn't tend to bunch up on itself while wrapping. The built in "Thumb Loops" are very handy and does allow these wraps to be put on by yourself, which is a big plus, and the Velcro fastener is fairly long, providing a secure hold throughout a long workout.

Recommended, with the above length caveat.

Awesome for the price

I purchased this for use in a school presentation on Confucianism. I wasn't expecting much for only $12 so I was surprised how nicely it was crafted. My only complaint is that it has a very strong chemical smell that can fill up an entire room. This took a few months to go away.

when i first got this it seemed ok then i went in my back yard and tried some basic swings then it felt wobbly so i checked it and there was a bigg crack in the blade so i sent it back and got a new one and that one had a crack in the handle so i sanded it down found a bunch of nots in the wood. i wood defenetly recomend this to any body if u want a good one spend the 15 bucks and get one u no wont break

Good for what it is

The only problems with this bokken is that the nylon wrapped around the hilt is not that tight and the hand guard. The wrapping comes loose as you use it and the guard wobbles around. I completely removed the guard as it was just a nusciance. Otherwise, this is a great practice weapon and if need-be, it could be an excellent and cheap home defense weapon as it is rather heavy if you get hit with it.

Not so Good

I purchased this boken a week ago. I received in it 4 day and it seemed like it was in good shape. It came in a slender package and wasn't difficult to pull out. The boken had a well weaved wrap on the handle. The blade seems like it is in good shape. I choose to use the seems. Within the week, the tip of the blade already lost a chunk of wood. I didn't do any strenuous activity with the boken. A little chunk of wood about 2-3 inches long and 1/2 and inch think came off of the tip. After that happened, I looked at the wood. It is very knotted up and even seems black as if it has been rotting or had some water in it.

The little tsuba was interesting though. Inside the package was a little rubber nub that slides down the blade to the hilt. The little nub sits just above the wrapping, and you are supposed to take the hard plastic/wood (I'm unsure of its material), and slide it over the nub. I couldn't get the tsuba over the nub very well and left it off. It seems purely cosmetic though.

All in all, I am returning it and getting my money back. The boken would make a nice prop or even something to swing around. Be careful swinging it around though. It wouldn't surprise me if you slightly nick a wall or something and a small piece comes flying off of it.
