A bit small
I bought some UFC gloves and my hands fit fine. These Everlasts are a bit tight, especially around the finger webs. If you read the reviews they're all pretty mediocre. I'd say ante up the money and get some quality. I'm not impressed with this purchase, even at $25.

Everlast gloves
These gloves fit perfectly and feels really good. I use the gloves mainly for heavy bag workouts and they feel excellent. I especially like the velcro strap easy on and easy off even with sweaty palms. So far the quality of the gloves feels like they will stand up to a lot more punishment than I am dishing out right now. This was a great purchase for me and would easily buy Everlast again in the future.

These Gloves SMELL
I was excited to get a new pair of Everlast MMA gloves. When they arrived and I opened the box, I couldn't believe how strong the asphalt smell was. I used them that night at the dojo, thinking the smell would wear off, but had to take them off after a few minutes, as I was getting a headache. I've left them in my garage for 2 weeks and they still smell. I've tried calling Everlast but get into a phone loop. I am now going to write to them, as I can not ever use these gloves. What a shame, they seem good other than a chemical they must have used to process them. I am looking for an American made glove if any one knows of one, please post.

Just what I needed... also I have some hints to help out.
Just got my gloves and I can say that for the price they are worth it. I will get all the use out of these as I can and need. I see no problem using them for just about everything when it comes to training, I would even use these in a cage or ring. There easy to put on, stay in place and very versital. Good for someone who needs a multi task glove and doesn't have a lot to spend or just needs an extra pair. I would recommend them to someone that is wondering about buying some.
Also I have heard a few complaints about these gloves so let me give you a few tips. The main thing you have to remember about any glove is it takes a little time to get use to them, heres how most problems are easy to deal with. Inbetween your fingers I can see how they can be harsh, just a little athletic tape and maybe gauze till you break them in.Also the lack of wrist padding and support, just get a set of hand wraps. Novice ones can support the palm and wrist if wrapped good. Pro ones can cover most of the hand and take care of the fingerwebbing and help with support. Just use both or too pairs of one kind. More wraps means you can also cover more of the knuckles as well so if you are a beginner try for some heavy padded and extra protective gloves, then try these out. If you know what your doing then you don't have to read this.
Rating :
Good, But a little painful
the gloves are good but they have some sort of webbing between the fingers so they can cut into the REAL skin webbing of your hand. over all i like them and will be training with them on my BOB. They don't hurt my knuckles after punching the wall for about 5 mins so they should be good for anyone who has some sports tape or a small ACE bandage laying around.

Yes they are soft and cute. The only little thing I would change is the inside union is not so soft and affects when dancing

My 3 year old absolutely loves them!
I received these yesterday morning, and my little girl loved them so much! She wore them most of the day and even tried to sleep in them! After reading the other reviews, I ordered these a full size larger than her usual Stride Rite size, and they fit well with about a half size of growing room. They appear to be well made with leather uppers and suede sole. Also, they arrived 3 days after I ordered when selecting just the regular shipping method.

finally a small shoe that fits
Trying to find a little shoe that will stay on your daughters foot? look no further. My daughter wears a regular 7 shoe and I bought the smallest size, which was an 8. These run small so buy one size bigger. They arrived in three days. Their snug around her little foot and The soft leather molds to her foot. Can be wore with or without tights. The leather bottom is secure to the tight stitching and made to withstand a workout. The string tie and elastic band top are also both secure and the price was $8.00 cheaper than the two dance studios near my house. With free shipping from my amazon prime, I will be ordering another pair in black.

Granddaughters love them
These were a Christmas gift for our 3 granddaughters. They are just 6 and 4 and do not yet take formal ballet lessons. The shoes are just for playing ballet with their new ballet barre and practice tape.

This thing is more fun than should legally be possible! solid, real looking and to some degree feeling, and great exercise.

Worth the Cost for the XL Version
I already had several heavy bags so I didn't need another one. THe BOB (Body Oppenent Bag) is great for practicing a wide variety of combative moves. Forearm strikes, groin strikes/kicks, eye gouging/raking, palm heel strikes to the nose or chin, palm strikes to ears, strikes to throat, hooks and upper cuts, chokes, and a lot more. I also practice with my fighting sticks on BOB. Or course you can do most of these strikes, kicks, and punches on a heavy bag too. But the BOB gives you a chance to see if your moves are accurate. Plus you can make BOB shorter or taller. I found that filling BOB's base with sand was the best for the way we use him. Water filled base did not give us the stability we wanted. It seems to me that these new BOBs are a bit more sturdy than the original versions. I wouldn't use a BOB to replace my heavy bags...BUT it is a great additon.

This is not a punching bag
If you are looking for a good punching bag this is not it. However, if you are looking for something to practice your grab, strikes this is perfect. It rock back and forth as you hit it. Although is 270pounds, it will move!
Rating :
Very sturdy and exactly as advertised!
Century® Body Opponent Freestanding Heavy Bag, XL I bought this for my husband and he loves it. Very fast shipping and well packaged. This dummy is heavier and sturdier than some others, so my husband likes it better than the one he uses at his Tai Chi class.

Recieved the Bottom, but not Century bob
I recieved the Bottom, the black part where you fill with water or sand, but i did not actually recieve the body to hit...It came in a big 8 sided box, with enough room for the bottom piece AND Century bob...but it came and the top was open, the staples were undone, hell the top was just hanging off to the side when the delivery man came, i asked him if there was more to come, he said NO....

Editorial Review :
Get the most out of your boxing or martial arts training with this Everlast 80-pound heavy bag. It's made from tough Nevatear, a new leather-like, vinyl material that's made to endure the rigors of even the toughest gyms. It includes a chain attachment for hanging from a heavy bag stand or ceiling attachment. About Everlast The name Everlast is synonymous with boxing. Renown internationally as a manufacturer of boxing equipment, Everlast started out as a swimwear manufacturer in 1910. Headquartered in the Bronx, NY, the company was founded by 17-year-old Jacob Golomb. The son of a tailor and an avid swimmer, Jacob Golomb was dissatisfied with the durability of swimsuits because they barely lasted a season, so he began making suits that he guaranteed would last for a full year. He proudly gave them the name, Everlast. Although the swimsuits did not last through the years, the name did. Over the next years, Golomb expanded his company into a small retail store that carried a full line of sports equipment. In 1917, a young fighter named Jack Dempsey introduced boxing to Golomb and Everlast. Dempsey asked Golomb to construct protective headgear that would last more than 15 rounds of intensive boxing training. Golomb specially designed the training gear for Dempsey. In 1919, Dempsey won the world’s heavyweight championship wearing boxing gloves made for him by Golomb. Everlast became the headquarters for boxing equipment throughout the world. In 1925, Golomb designed elastic-waist trunks to replace the leather-belted trunks then worn by boxers. These trunks, now known as boxer trunks, immediately became famous. Jacob Golomb ran the business until he passed away in the early 1950’s and his son, Dan, took over. In 1958, Ben Nadorf joined Everlast and purchased 50% of the company from the Golomb family. When Dan Golomb passed away in 1995, Nadorf purchased the family’s remaining 50% interest. Nadorf remained the President and Principle Share Holder of Everlast until October 24, 2000. Everlast men’s and women’s apparel and accessories continue today to be tremendously successful both inside and outside the ring. In addition, Everlast boxing trunks and equipment remain the proud and undefeated champion of the boxing industry for more than 90 years. The history continues, as the name states. Everlast has a traditional past and a knockout future. What's in the Box? 80-pound Nevatear bag, chain attachment Manufacturer Warranty 1 year
Customer Review :
Bag is not the same as in the picture
I ordered this 4008 80lb. Everlast bag that suppose to have chains on it instead of stitched nylon straps. What I ordered and wanted is what shows in the picture but that's not what I got. The traditional Everlast logo is different and I got nylon straps instead of chains from the bag to the chain hanger that is included. I am not very happy with this bag because it's not what shows in the picture. If you are concerned about the Everlast traditional logo and chains for the bag then don't order this bag because you won't get those two things. Other then that the bag is O.K. I can return it but what a hassle it would be to return an 80lb. bag. Amazon shouldn't deceive customers with inaccurate pictures of the product or at least inform the customer if the product has changed or just put the correct picture up.

Awesome replacement for my 25lb'er
So yes, I too got mine in a semi-destroyed box. It had a second immediately internal box though that was in perfect shape, so that was pretty cool. I don't recall how the chains came. I think they were already connected and ready to go.
The one problem I had chain-wise is the caribiners(sp?) are a little too small. I'm almost considering going out to a camping store and finding some heavy-duty ones. I'm sure weight-wise they're fine but they're just too small. It's hard to explain but when you look at it you'd know what I'm talking about.
Also I have a really nice heavy duty bag rack, and I need to get somemore support weight on the bottom. That 80 lbs swinging around needs more than 150lbs holding it down for sure. I'm probably going to double that.
I took out all of the extension chains which is really easy via like 3 caribiners(sp?) that are at all of the key points. So we just switched a few around and viola shortened it by about 7-8 inches, which was perfect height for my bag rack.
I read a lot of reviews saying the 'softness distribution' is all out of whack. The middle section is exactly the same softness as my 25lb'er (maybe slightly more firm), so I have nothing to judge that on but it's just -pefect- for me. The top section I would never hit because it jerks my rack around. The lower section well... let's just say that's for when your hands / legs get a little tougher. I punch/kick there a few times a day to soften it up, and to toughen myself up. I'm sure it'll be fine some day.
OH yea bottom line. You need to buy some serious, serious gloves for this thing. I suggest mid to high range gloves with some really good wrist wraps or your wrists are not going to be happy campers.
Also don't think like, you're going to be punching on this thing for a half hour straight even with gloves on for a few weeks. You need to be taking breaks like every 10 min even if you're scaling up from a lower bag. Heat + friction + moisture = not good for your knuckles. Since this thing is so heavy your knuckles are rubbing against it a lot more, so yea, take good breaks. Don't be like me. Try punching it for 10 min, kicking it for 5 min, or something.
Anyway I hope this helps. I think that's everything. I really enjoy this bag.
Talk to ya'll later!

Cat of Nine Tails Whip. Great for Halloween customers. Add this to your leather collection!
Customer Review :
Cheap item - not even good for costume use
I received this item as a gift and was amazed at the poor quality. As soon as I unpacked it the (very obvious) glue holding the wrapping around the handle let go and the wrapping began to unwind. I'm only glad that my gift giver didn't waste much money on this item. Although what was spent was wasted. Very, very shoddy work.

A NEW whip.
I appreciate the NEW whip that was sent in the place of the one that was damaged. The new whip is very good. I'm so happy that it arrived quickly and in excellent condition.
Thank you.

Pretty Decent
The item arrived pretty fast, a part of it seemed to look a bit used and broken but I needed it for a costume so it was nice. Not really good to use for S&M play but you get what you paid for and it was cheap. I recommend to use for show versus play.

It delivers your message loud and clear!
This is not my first cat-of-nine-tails whip but it is actually the best one for the money. I bought 2 of these to use as gifts and I ended up keeping one of them. This whip has a great handle/grip, very comfortable to hold great for long sessions. It is also well balance so it doesnt require a lot of aiming to hit the wanted spot. Also, what counts, Im receiving excellent feedbacks from the people at the other end of it. It delivers your message loud and clear at normal swing with a very good increase in...love as you increase the swing speed and force. This product delivers!

Nice leather feel and action
The leather look, feel, smell and action is just what you'd expect from a well-crafted leather article. Very satisfied.

Questions & Answers
Question : How come boxing/boxer is more accepted and earns good cash than any other fighting sports?
Boxing compare to MMA, wrestling and any othersports that has an opponent to beat...is much famous, much entertaining and is in a good business relationship.how come? why arent other sports mentioned at top did not reach the level of want like boxing?
Answer:
Because, despite the said decline of boxing following, it is still the most watched and most profitable fighting sport as of now. If there are still plenty of people who want to spend their money to watch PPV or live boxing matches, boxers will still be the highest paid fighting athletes.Apparently, MMA is on the rise. But promoters are still not gutsy enough to pay millions of dollars even to the elite and marketable Cage fighters. Promoters have to be sure of their return of investment and a fighter salary of millions is too risky. It may end up as a financial loss for them.Boxing had somewhat slowed this past decade because of fixed fights, corrupt promoters, lacked of drama (post-Tyson), and maybe because of competition from UFC. But now, I'm quite glad because of Pacquiao, Marquez, Cotto, Mosley, and even the villain in Mayweather, boxing has been going strong again.MMA might catch up and maybe overtake boxing but only time can tell. Boxing has a legacy founded for more than a hundred years. Heroes and Legends were made since then. Boxing won't fade away that easily.

Question : What do you like about baseball compared to cricket and other sports?
What are some things you like about baseball that other sports dont have? and why?and why is baseball the only sport where steroids is used?
Answer:
Other sports are not the nation's pastime. That is the huge thing that attracts me to baseball. And baseball is not the only sport where steroids are used...not even close to the only sport. That's...comforting I guess? But not really.

Question : What are other sports cars/coupes that are along the lines of a mustang?
Maybe i can clarify better here: I would like something that looks very nice (I love the way coupes look and most sports cars are coupes so..). I love the way the 99-04 mustangs look so right now thats my leader. Alot of my friends have camaros which are cheap but i personally don't like them. But i want to know what some other options are.
Answer:
if you have money, want speed, and dont care for looks, go for a honda. if you're for looks then go for a 3.8 mustang from 99-04. then mod it. itll be lighter than the 4.6's and can move pretty well. if you want the v8, itll be heavier, but it WILL move a lot more with mods, but gas will kill your wallet. the 3.8 camaro is okay, just about the same as the 3.8 mustang. the 8 cylinders, I don't follow as well, I'm a 6 cylinder man. good luck!

Question : What does it mean if you are really good at tennis but terrible at all the other sports?
I am an excellent tennis player. I always have been- I have that natural gift. However, I`m bad at every other sport known to man. What could it be about tennis that adheres to my kinesthetic abilities? What special skill does tennis require that I obviously have a lot of? Why might I be bad at the other sports?
Answer:
It means you are very good at tennis?

Question : What other sports might a swimmer be good at?
Im 15 years old and iv been swimming since I was 6 and I think that im petty good at it cause I won like 5 trophies at a gala recently sorry if I sound like im bragging. But what other sports might a swimmer be good at I would just like to try something new any ideas?
Answer:
Lance Armstrong started out as a swimmer, so cycling ought to be a good sport. Gymnastics, maybe? Some are good runners, but most aren't. How about wrestling, I'd bet that would be a great cross-over.

Question : What can we do to grow Pinoys interest and passion toward other sports besides basketball?
Basketball is a popular sport that Filipinos love to play. And while we are very good at it, it is always better to introduce other sports to sharpen new skills and discover amazing talents that could bring more pride to the country. There are also plenty of Filipino athletes who excel at other sports and who work hard at their craft too. These athletes deserve the same kind of support and opportunities from the government, the media, advertisers and fans.
Answer:
First of all, i'm glad you asked that question. It's about time that Filipinos realize that basketball is not the only sport we can be good at. Manny has proved that in boxing, and Efren Reyes in pool. But so much for the relatively 'older' generation, what's in store for the younger generation? Basketball has always been popular in the Philippines since the American colonial period. Even politicians support it by putting up basketball courts as part of their community projects. I, for one play the sport, though not a super duper fan of it. I'm a soccer/ football player. I'm a swimmer, too. And okay, so I am an athlete and a contingent of Generation Y. What we can do is help popularize other sports by integrating them in our media, which is a very powerful communicating tool to us TV watchers. Why not have sports shows or something? Putting up clubs and organizations that will encourage the discovery of hidden talents and the mastering of skills is one way too. Also, we should recognize the Filipinos, especially the younger ones, who have brought honor to the country. In this way, other kids could see that if they could do it, why can't I? I guess Milo is doing that, by introducing Filipino athletes excelling in different sports played in the country, as seen in their green Milo sachets. The government could play a part in this endeavor as well. Although it may not become their priority for now, officials could at least show their support by showing up when they're invited to their own children's competitions, or in the tournaments/programs in their respective areas of influence. So something like that, Mr. Chris. This is my first time to give an Answer. Hope this one has been beneficial enough to be applied in the soonest time possible. =)

Question : What sports can somebody with one leg shorter than the other play?
Would having a shortened leg be an advantage in tennis, for a stronger serve? Volley ball? Golf? Any other sports?
Answer:
I use to have that problem, I got surgery when I was younger to fix it though.Golf is one that is nonbiased because you learn how to compensate early on. Tennis you can, although it can be tougher.Swimming and wrestling def. are the same way as Golf is. Really, you can even do baseball easy if you're a pitcher. Don't let anything stop you, find ways to get around it but most of all just have fun doing it.

Question : What other sports have cheaters running amuck?
With all this nonsense going on with baseball, football, cycling etc....what other sports do you think have cheaters running amuck? Is this sort of thing going on with hockey, golf, tennis, etc...with steriods and spying?
Answer:
All of them. With the amounts of money that are on the line in professional sports there is, and always will be, someone willing to bend or break the rules to get a piece of it.

Question : Is there any other sports -apart from football- where several fans die because of the sports itself?
I've heard news of several football fans who died because of the beautiful game, but what about other sports? Do fans die because of other sports too? If yes, what kind of sports is that?
Answer:
I guess you could find singular instances in many sports. I remember a horse jumping the barrier at a meet in Australia that killed a spectator. Race cars/ super bikes where spectators have been killed or injured from crash debris or vehicles crashing through guard rails etc. I'm sure there are many, we just don't hear about them all that often. Interesting question.
