The GSC Gym Chalk is for gymnastics or weight-lifting. Conveniently wrapped in 2 oz. blocks, eight blocks per 1 lb. package.
Customer Review :
Good gym chalk
When I started my strength training routine, it was suggested that I use chalk instead of gloves or straps. Not using gloves and straps can help develop grip, and so chalk is a good way to keep your hands dry and build your grip strength.
Since using it, deadlifts and power cleans have become so much more tolerable, and instead of being limited by hand pain, I'm only limited by how much weight my body can pull off the ground. I also believe that my grip has gotten stronger since using chalk.
Whether you buy this brand or not, you must make sure that it is magnesium carbonate. This is gym chalk. Any other compound is not, including bowler's rosin bags. Magnesium carbonate from Taiwan is the chalk that is made of win.

That's alot of chalk!
This is a great bargain for chalk. The bars are plenty big, in fact I cut mine each in half to carry with me to the gym. You won't run out anytime soon. Shipping was very fast.

Gym Chalk
Recently picked up powerlifing and purchased this chalk mostly for deadlifts. Great price for quantity.

Wow. Chalk.
I didn't expect the package of chalk to be so huge. One of the blocks completely fills a ziploc bag with chalk, and you get eight blocks per package. I don't expect for this to run out any time soon.

buy it
It have recently started serious training again after several years and to my surprise Dicks Sporting Goods, Sports Authority and other sport stores no longer carry hand chalk. ridiculous. Anyways, Amazon of course had it. Now I could have gone to a outdoor store and found some in the rock climbing sections, but I knew I would be needing it in bulk since I use it everyday and it would be cheaper on Amazon. You can use this chalk for any gym use. I use it on gymnastic rings, olympic lifts, kettlebells and the like and I am very pleased with the results. You can't get a better deal than this. I will say this though, if your expecting the chalk to be in powder form, it is not. They are solid pieces of chalk, however you can break them and make them into powder form. I typically break some of it up into powder and leave the rest solid and use accordingly to my exercise.

White Chalk is preferred by Gymnasts, Weight Lifters and Climbers because of it's light, soft quality.
Customer Review :
Good Stuff
Product it as good as advertised. I use it for training a hs football team and they love it when they perform their olympic lifts. I imagine it would be just as good for climbing and gymnastics also. Price is nice compared to other stuff out there that is "imported from Italy" and charges six bucks for a 2 oz block.

A hand for the Hand Chalk
There is not too much one can critique concerning hand chalk, but this product performs exactly as it is supposed to. It keeps my hands dry, thus non-slippery, while I work out with free weights. I am very pleased with the chalk.

Exactly what I need.
My primary forms of training are powerlifting and rowing. In both of these, having a strong, dry grip is crucial for success. I've been using this chalk for 3 years now, and I'll always have extra blocks on hand just to make sure I don't go without it.
FYI, I train 5-6x per week, and a 1-lb package typically lasts over a year.

It broke.
Basically what your getting here is a cloth filled with chalk. I use it for weight training. Funny to think a cloth filled with chalk can break but this thing did. The zip tie holding the cloth closed just popped off after using it 2 times and chalk started to pour out. Luckily i was holding the ball with the zip tie facing up, if it would have been facing down all the chalk would have fallen out. I used a rubber band to tie the hole closed. It works ok now. It would be nice if there was instead a zipper or something more permanent that closed tight but you could refill it. You can refill this but I don't think its intended for much reuse. I would not buy this again. You only get 3oz and for a few more bucks you can get a bulk package of chalk. I'd just buy the chalk.

Standard chalk
Using this for deadlifting and it makes a difference. I really like that you can just squeeze it a few times and get the right amount of chalk that you need. Also easy to store.

GRIP
There's not much to be said about a product like this because it only has one function, and that is to make sure your grip does not slip.
I gotta tell you, it felt like my hands were welded to that bar. Simple yet satisfying product. I recommend it to any lifters out there who need to get the most out of their grip.

Customer Review :
great product, not so great timing
I loved the parachute (actually two - one large and one small) and my kids were extremely excited to get it. However, I ordered this item in PLENTY of time to receive it by christmas (ordered Dec 11), but did not receive it until almost a week AFTER christmas, nearly 3 weeks later. It was supposed to ship within a day or two of ordering (the ad claimed it was 'in stock'), but didn't. I didn't keep the box, but I seem to recall the date the shipping label was printed was something like Dec 22, over 10 days after the order date! That is unacceptable. The product was fine and in excellent shape, and I would highly recommend teh product, but if you are ordering for a specific date, make sure to give yourself at least a MONTH of lead time.

New canopy
I was so tired of my Gazebo tops ripping and costing over $125.00 to replace, that I thought parachute this summer. I purchased the 10 footer just to see if it may work and low and behold , it is the greatest. We have had 3 major wind storms and not a rip or tear anywhere. The description was extremely accurate and I will be purhasing another ,but the white if they carry in the extra durable for next Spring, . Service was extra fast and professionally handled. I am thrilled 100% All my birds outside like all the color also, the neighbors think I am running a circus ,but who cares, keeps me shaded and dry. Thanks Mary Gulasey , Michigan

Question : Women that are into gymnastics, swimming, and other olympic sports like track? look at details...?
I want to know why women do these sports when I see many, and maybe all, that have no chest whatsoever. I understand that it comes with the territory, but doesnt that make you insecure to stand or sit by a "larger" woman. Does it also make u feel upset to know that many men do not like flat chested women?
Answer:
Most girls in these sports have great bodies. I have heard a lot of girls ask this question, so your not the first. They are healthy, tend to be fun, the gymnast have some amazing butts. I dig these girls, they make some good and fun loving too!! You are right though some do get insecure becuase they tend to always be a bit shorter, gymnast that is. I dont pay attention to the other sports
