Way too small
This cover appears to be made of good materials and would be worth the price if I could make it fit. My Skidoo is 107" long and this cover is supposed to fit a machine up to 115". The first one I ordered was at least 12" too short. I returned it with an explanation and the measurements of my sled and just received a second cover. It is about 8" too short and no amount of tugging and adjusting will make it fit. I am returning this one also and will shop for a cover from a different source.

Customer Service #1
I was not happy with the product. They claim this is a XL and did not even come close to fitting my sled. It was short by at least 2-3ft and did not fit over my hood (I have a small windshield too!) Seam was poorly put together and were coming apart in few spots. HOWEVER.. customer service department was VERY GOOD - they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Not only I got a personal communication from their CS department but was followed by their manager's apology E-mail. If you are thinking about doing business with this company, don't think twice. They will make sure you are satisfied.

sizing no right!
The sizing chart doesn't work. My 94 polaris xlt sp is 102" long from bumper to bumper;so i got a medium (up to 110"). Not even close! Way too small! Beware. No I have to return it. What a hassle.

A good value for the price
This cover is a great value for the price. For $25, you could barely buy a blue tarp and some bungee cords. This cover is by no means a custom fit cover, but does the job well. ORDER ONE SIZE LARGER THEN THE SIZING CHART SAYS YOU NEED. I bought an X-large and it just fits my 115" sled. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive cover to keep the elements off their snowmachine.

The Big 12' Shed. Heavy Duty Shed-in-a-Box.
Customer Review :
Portable garage
I live in an apartment complex without covered or indoor parking. I wanted to keep my baby ('07 Goldwing) protected from the weather and dry when it rains. There is a private "patio" with privacy hedges along the front of the two story town houses that's just enough bigger than the shelter that I can get around it easily. It is very well built, the materials appear to be of good quality, durable and absolutely waterproof. It's fairly easy to assemble even alone. I started inside but quickly moved outside while it would fit through the door. It's well protected from the wind by the hedges, so it's free standing. I didn't think the landlord would appreciate holes in the concrete for the anchors. There have been some nasty thunderstorms with high winds and it hasn't moved. Not mfg's fault but there were a lot of sections of the tube frame missing. First call got a promise to get them to me in 10 days, second call actually got them ordered and delivered as promised. Absolutely no problems replacing the pieces the freight company lost. The box is heavy but I got it in the house without help. The inside has plenty of space for this very large motorcycle. Able to ride it in, just have to lower the antennae first. I added velcro to the roof and the flap door to hold it open when it's breezy. I thought some ties inside and outside at the top of the door could have been sewn into the seams and would have made it easy to keep the door open, but the velcro works well. The floor is the concrete and the sides are long enough that they curve outwards and keep the rain from coming in. It would be perfect for any motorcycle (possibly two crotch rockets), ATV or lawn tractor. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this highly. Wish I'd known about these years ago and plan to take it with me if I move.

Questions & Answers
Question : Is There a Website or Other Source For Vacation Statistics?
Thank you in advance for your guidance! Looking for a website or ? that will give statistics for #'s of families and/or individuals (or percentage) that travel for vacation in the USA and how to track those changing #'s from previous years. Info such as type of vacation with things to do like outdoor camping, cabin, resort or high end resort with all the amenities you can think of or other vacations: fishing, golfing, amusement parks, water sports, hunting, fine dining, short get-a-ways, ocean cruises, length of stay, how far from home they would drive or fly. How about including winter activities like skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling or other? Amount $$ spent on lodging and lodging choices like...resort, single family home or condo. This would help us narrow down our choice! If I need to seek out "reference" books at the local library that's O.K. I am planing a vacation & writing a report on how the current economy effects vacationers. Thanks again!

Question : People who are good at science: is my lab report okay?
The spectacular, brilliant minds of Snowy Recreations, Inc. have begun a major revolution in the history of snowmobiles! We have used careful research and run tests to create the remarkable, the divine, the ingenious…Snow Sensation 3000! Yea, so, we didn’t make the actual snowmobile…but we did make the snowmobile’s shell, which is super durable, super strong, and super safe! The properties used to make the composite include PETE, epoxy glue, silk, nylon, and more to create the most innovative, safe, fire-proof, and all around marvelous snowmobile shell that’s the biggest trend on all of the mountains! The original design for the properties of the snowmobile’s shell was layers in this order: thermoset, nylon, silk, PETE, and thermoset again. The good things about this design? It’s tough and it won’t melt, and it doesn’t scratch too easily. We wanted to glue all of the properties together with epoxy glue. But first, we wanted to create other options for ourselves to see if we could make a composite that is even better, because the customer must be completely satisfied, if not dazzled. The second design we tried was PETE, then thermoset, silk, and lastly, nylon, all glued together with gorilla glue. The advantages of using the nylon as the last layer is that it is stiff and hard to tear, but unfortunately, we found that the gorilla glue just couldn’t handle too much weight, which is an important part of the snowmobile’s shell. So, we ditched that idea, and tried one more design. The third design we tested was glued together with epoxy glue again, with layers consisting of PETE, nylon, silk, thermoset, and PP. The design is not fragile and the epoxy hardens to make the shell even stronger, it doesn’t scratch easily, it doesn’t tear under weight pressure… it’s simply a dream! The third design turned out to be the composite we used to create the shell of the Snow Sensation 3000. It is strong, safe, non-flammable, and just amazing in general, of course. It’s everything that you could possibly look for in a snowmobile shell! Someone pinch the snowmobile riders, because this phenomenon is so perfect, it seems unreal! The test we performed on the composite was scratching the surface of the composite to test its sturdiness. The scratches were not at all severe, showing that the composite is strong and ready for action! Only one last modification we could make would probably be adding more PETE onto the composite to make it even stronger; and even more fabulous, of course. We would glue the PETE to the composite using epoxy, the same glue used to glue together the other layers. It is guaranteed that this amazing snowmobile will sell like crazy if it is sporting this fantastic shell!
Answer:
It sounds like you did some work and were committed in your actions, but I didn't hear any numbers. How much glue, polymers were used? How did you test whether it was inflammable? I'm not convinced of this fact. Perhaps it is just the PETE itself that is thermally resilient and has nothing to do with any of your modifications...How did you test for scratch resistance - did you use calibrated laboratory apparatus that could be quantified and compared to industry standards? - Only then could you claim it was scratch resistant.Did you test the stress-strain and breakage resistance, and by what method? - Did you use laboratory equipment? How do the numbers of your stuff compare to PETE alone for all tests?I hate to take the devils advocate position - I'm am just trying to get you to think of some unanswered questions I have about what I read.

Question : Should sled-dog racing or snowmobile be added to the winter Olympics?
While snow mobile racing or snow mobile freestyle was never in the Olympics sled dog racing-demonstration sport- was along with some other unusual sports. http://sports.yahoo.com/olympics/news;_ylt=AvT03yJJgxjev2FMrkwhp9l9sbV_?slug=ys-forbesoddoly020410&p rov=yhoo&type=lgns St.Moritz 1928 the demonstration sport of Skijoring was competed in. http://www.forbes.com/2010/01/28/olympics-demonstration-sports-lifestyle-sports-strangest-vancouver_ slide_10.html

Question : What is a good thing to do to help the winter pass by quicker?
I don't ski, snowmobile, snowboard, snowshoe,or skate.I currently don't do any winter outdoor sport.I don't have the money to take up anything except maybe skating.I want the winter to pass quicker, and I'm thinking a fun winter thing will do that.Any other suggestions except skating?I'm so bored just staying home indoors all winter.I work 10 hours a day,4 days a week,so I get really bored having 3 days off.Maybe get a second job,but I don't really want to work 7 days a week.I don't have many friends to hang out with, and the friends I do have are busy all the time with kids, work, etc. What should I do?I just sit in the house watching tv and on the computer all the time.I want to get out and get exercise.I'm depressed from being indoors all the time, and I still have 2 1/2 good solid months of winter to go.
Answer:

Question : What other sports/activities do you do besides riding?
I guess this is more like a poll question, but I was wondering if anyone participates in any other sports/activities/hobbies other than horseback riding? For example - we get lots of snow and ice in the winter, so no riding for me. I started riding snowmobiles a few years back, and I've found I really like it and it keeps me in great shape so when I start riding again in the Spring, it's much easier to prevent getting sore! I'm also involved in 4-H (4-H horse leader for 6 years). We're also looking at getting into Search and Rescue (both horses and snowmobiles).Just a fun question!
Answer:
As a kid (through eighth grade), I played basketball at school in addition to riding. I was also involved in numerous non-riding events in 4-H (horse judging, hippology, and horse bowl), which I continued through high school. I spent one night a week at practice and went to multiple competitions through the national level, so it took a lot of my time. I didn't play basketball after 8th grade, but my twin sister did--so during the fall/winter, she barely got to ride since she had practice every day after school and games several nights a week. In college, I played intramural sports (field hockey in the fall and basketball in the spring) while riding on the IHSA team (four practices a week), though I didn't have my own horse at school. Now, I teach 3rd grade which should probably count as a sport in itself :). I still ride every day--I get to school at 6:30 (half an hour early) to prepare for the day, spend my 45 min.-1 hour planning period working and getting things done, and am usually able to leave around 3:15 or so, which allows me to make it to the barn before dark so that I can ride. If I have papers to grade, I do it early in the morning or at night.

Question : What type of seasonal activity is your most favorite?
Spring/SummerHiking, photography, parasailing, fishing, wildlife viewing, four by fouring, camping, enjoying the scenery and outdoors, kayaking, canoeing, roller skating, rock climbing, mountain biking, atving, exploring remote areas, sailing, jet-skiing, swimming, inner tubing, white water rafting, wide games, picnicking, etc.Fall/ WinterIce hockey, basketball, volleyball, badminton, football, snowmobiling, heli-skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, ice climbing, looking at snow, winter driving, other extreme sports, winter camping, toboganning, sledding, etc.Why do you like this, and what would you recommend while doing this activity?
Answer:
Summer backpacking and camping. These have long been my favorite activities. I love the mountains. The perspective it gives me on life in general and my own life touches me deeply. I feel like I know my place in the universe when I'm in the mountains, especially in the forest. There I am part of the ecosystem, part of nature. In the city I lose that connection, and I feel much like just one of the masses.

Question : what to get boyfriend for christmas?
I have been with him for over three years. He loves snowmobiling more than anything. He also loves baseball, golf, and a few other sports. He's in college and one thing he is always doing is texting. I hate cell phones so I don't even have one. I don't know if I should get him the ipod touch since he doesn't have an ipod either or what. Also maybe tickets to see the Red Sox? I asked him whHa hae wanted and he said a snowmobile. Haha, he already has an F7 so I think he's good on that. What would you want, or what would you get your boyfriend? Thanks.sorry, I meant the iphone, not ipod touch.
Answer:
Well, an iPod's one of those generic gifts that anyone would appreciate, but there's not much thought put into those. Baseball tickets would be a pretty good idea. I personally wouldn't want Red Sox tickets, but apparently he's a fan. Based on the fact that he likes snowmobiling, a coat, gloves, tobogan, anything of that nature would be cool if he hasn't gotten new ones in a while.
