Great Soft balls off the box
I play squash four times a week. And friends and I go through alot of balls. Lately we've been ripping them easily, and I think it is because the balls were hard to bigin with. So it is either the place we are getting them from is storing them in a hot dry store, or they are recieving them from the supplier already dry. These how ever are as soft as they come. I am very pleased with the quality, and the shipping was fast. The price was pretty competative also. I seriously recomend it to the serious players.

Great balls; great price; individually packaged
These balls are awesome. Note that they are individually packaged, so you can give them to others or use them one at a time. They are not sealed, however, so they will gradually weaken over a couple years.

Husband's favorite
My husband, the squash player, has used these Dunlop Double Yellow Dots for almost thirty years. Sometimes, in the dead of winter, when the court walls are cold, he will use another ball. He looks forward to warmer weather when he can use his favorite Doubles again.

The Standard Ball ... but they wear out faster than they ought
These are the standard ball that all serious players use, so there's really no choice. (Other balls may overall bounce with the same power, but they don't stick to the side walls in exactly the same way. The differences are not huge, but for players who practice a lot, even small differences drive you crazy.) These balls are not perfect, though: there are significant differences from one ball to the next, and they wear out relatively quickly. They usually don't break quickly, but they lose their consistent bounce after a few good matches.

Great starter kit
If you are beginner looking for a squash gear set, this would be a good fit for you. The weight of the racket is about just right for beginners. The eye patch is not really useful though. I can hardly imagine someone being hit by the squash ball during his playing.

Great, pro squash balls
I am new to squash, but I found these to be the perfect balance of speed and bounce. Several avid players told me these were the ones to buy, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. After playing for a month, this is the only ball I use now.

I got this racquet just 2days after I ordered. I could play immediately. It is my first time to own squash racquet so I cannot compare, I was happy with this racquet. I think it's fine for a beginner.

Good buy for the price
I was skeptical given the dearth of reviews and low price, but my friend and I have both used one of these rackets about a dozen times each and the strings are still tight (and, in particular, unbroken). Probably not as good as the more expensive ones, but it gets the job done. Recommended for beginner/intermediate players.

Question : Heavily dominant right arm - help?
I play racquet sports a lot, tennis, badminton, squash etc. My right arm is noticably bigger than my left and very noticably stronger. I know this is already the case with a lot of professional tennis players (just look at nadal O.O) but i would like my arms to be more equal - If not in strength than at least in size. How can i fix this?
Answer:
Use a 2-handed backhand and focus your strength on your left arm and just let the right arm guide the racquet.Practice using the backhand and just let the right arm help you with your forehand.Weight training should help also, use dumbells and do bicep curls, lat curls, and chest presses.

Question : Can anyone help diagnose chronic elbow pain/injury?
While playing squash/baseball or performing exercises that place stress on my elbow, I develop what feels like extreme tendon pain. It's a constant ache that feels like it permeates the joint and usually doesn't occur immediately, building up after 15-20 minutes of work, but it will last for the remaining duration and will then disappear within 15-60 minutes after ceasing activity. The pain increases in severity and my arm loses strength (my throws lose speed/distance, can't get as much snap with my racquet, etc). In addition, I sometimes get a light tingling feeling in my fingertips while the pain is occurring.I saw my GP about the pain ~5 years ago, who stated that with rest and ice, the pain would minimize. I had a consultation at a sports clinic last summer, and the doctor there said that it was likely due to "microstructural tears" in a tendon with eventual surgery required.Any ideas as to what it could be/how to get it *properly* diagnosed? I'm seeing a doctor this week.I've rested my elbow as directed by a physician which didn't result in any improvement. The doctor I saw at the sports clinic had me on NSAIDs which didn't help either!I've seen two different types of braces for elbow injuries: 1) Elbow brace2) Forearm bandFor this type of injury, what would be most effective?

In my opinion, you have a proper diagnosis with the micro tears, and also a chronic sprained tendon. Rest is necessary, as is non-injurious stretching and exercise. Seek vitamins such as E, and enriching foods or protein supplements to help repair by itself. The non-steroidals and possible cortisone treatments, also painkillers allow you to do more damage, against your wishes. An occasional muscle relaxant could be kept on hand, for comfort, but don't keep pushing it.

It depends on what you are looking at in terms of physically demanding.Badminton requires more running than Tennis, contrary to what most people think:"The Wimbledon final lasted 198 minutes, the badminton final 76 minutes. The actual amount of time the ball or shuttlecock were in play were 18 minutes and 37 minutes respectively. Breaking it down further to the number of shots played (1 004 to 1 972) and assuming 22 feet traveled per shot per player we find that the tennis player covered about 2 miles, and the badminton player 4 miles. So the badminton player ran TWICE as far in under half the time. "But tennis is physically demanding in the upper body more than badminton. You're using your entire arm for every single shot, not to mention you're striking a heavier target with a heavier racket.Squash doesn't require too much physical activity as much as it requires a lot of strategy and skill in returning a shot.Table Tennis is also less physical than Tennis and Badminton. But I just am in awe at the good people playing it. The actual playing area is like the size of a badminton court, only the court itself is a small table. You see people running back like 10 feet from the table in preparation for a smash. It's short quick movements in a small area.I'd have to go with either Tennis or Badminton. Both are about the same in terms of physically demanding, just in different areas. Tennis has more strength than Badminton while Badminton has more endurance and running (our coach once had a friend who ran 10 miles every single day...yet after 11 points in badminton, he was really tired out).Also, Tennis is mostly played outdoors while Badminton is indoors...It just depends on who you are. I'm not strong at all, so Tennis is difficult for me, but probably not difficult for other people (in terms of strength).

Badminton. It's graceful and intelligent and feminine.The others is more brute force and macho. You have to use a lot of muscle strength.

I can't think of specific guidelines at the moment, but I have seen tennis, badminton, table tennis, racquetball, and squash. In terms of complexity, tennis and badminton are at the top. In terms of intensity, I would think squash. In terms of hand-eye coordination and control, table tennis. But overall, I would choose badminton.

I think tennis is superior because you can play of different types of court surfaces and play outdoors in various weather conditions. These factors make the sport more demanding.

i've never played squash, but i do play tennis and racquetball. i would have to say racquetball is slightly easier, for these reasons:- you don't really have to worry about putting spin on the ball (the main reason it is easier).- it's indoors, so you never worry about the weather.- you don't have to go fetch balls after every few points.however, there are usually more tennis courts than racquetball courts.i am really into both sports though, and either one will be fun to play. just learn the rules, find a buddy, and have yourself a ball.

I like handball, because is a sport who makes us very moving the body, is a stimulus our corporal and gestural actions, and make us distracted.Truthfully, forms of handball are considered to be the oldest form of sport played with a ball and a wall. There are three different varieties including 1-wall, 3-wall and 4-wall each can be played as singles or doubles. It has the same basic rules as racquetball, however that is because racquetball was derived from handball. For many it is considered to be more challenging than racquetball because to become skilled you are required to use both sides of your body (which is harder than it sounds). In fact you get such a big workout you can expect to burn over 800 calories per hour when playing. This is one of the reasons handball was named the best all-around conditioner by the president's council on physical fitness.The governing body for the sport is the United States Handball Association, which helps to sanction over 100 tournaments per year and oversees the national tournaments. The Handball Hall of Fame is located in Tucson, Arizona and it serves as the HQ for the USHA. More information on handball can be found at www.ushandball.org.Also in terms of where do you play since there are several different types of handball there are different areas to play. If ou are interested in 1-wall or 3-wall handball contact your local parks & rec department to see if any of your parks have public courts if not suggest they build some.
