This Is A Winner

This is my 4th pair of the Propet Slip-on and I'll buy more when I need them. I have black and white. They are good looking, comfortable, durable, and an excellent value. Size options are excellent and since I wear a wide width this shoe suits me just fine.
It is without reservation that I recommend this product for purchase. Incidentally, this is a truly light shoe although the picture might suggest otherwise.

My Father Loves These Shoes

I bought this shoe several years ago for my father(now 79 years old), he wore them out, so I bought him a replacement pair. He has a lot of swelling in his ankles and lower legs due to poor circulation, and these are easy to get on and off. This year I bought a size bigger so he could get in his orthotics. He likes them because they are not so "geriatric" looking, and they are comfortable. He was excited to receive his new pair!

Really comfortable, believe the reviews

I purchased these after searching Amazon for "comfortable walking shoes" and saw the 5 star ratings these shoes received. Delivery was only 3 days and they are definitely the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I wear a size 8 1/2 D, and the drop down menu selection showed 8.5 D(M)and these fit perfectly. The label inside the shoe shows 8 1/2 X(3E) and I don't know why it says that, but they are basically the same size as my other 8 1/2 D's. Also says "Shock aborber walking shoes" on the inside, and they appear to feel like I'm walking more erect, and I measured about 1 3/4 inches more heel vs stocking feet, I guess Tom Cruise wear them too. :)

Wonderfully comfortable

I love these shoes. They are wonderfully comfortable, roomy yet supportive, and do not cut off the circulation, so as to make the foot swell. I like that they come in several widths. I have two pairs of them. "Wash and wear" is a bit misleading, since the directions are merely to wipe them with a wet cloth.

Not built for walking

I walk a lot when playing golf. And I can say, after about a dozen rounds, this shoe has been problematic for me. Here's the problem: they built in this "heel-grabber" cushion piece that is too hard and will not wear down, even after a dozen or so rounds. I know this was probably done on purpose, to make the shoe fit snugly overall at the back, but the problem is that it is not consistent enough around the heel that unless you have a very padded heel area already naturally, you will get calloused very easily - as I did. Now every time I wear it I have to put on 3 layers of band-aids just to stop the heel piece from causing a pain. The shoe is also on the heavy side, and I honestly do think that the shoe is not built for walking for that reason - why did it have to be so heavy? Even with the newly thinner sole, it still is quite heavy. It has great stability as advertised and the water-proofing is good, but they made a mistake with the heel piece. To compare, if you put on the Tour 360 Limited, the heel area is a little more flat and not as hard or grabby - much more comfortable. Of course, that shoe is $250 compared to the $180 of this shoe. Would it have been worthwhile to buy the more expensive one? Perhaps yes, if you are a walker like me who does not ride in carts much. Also - I think the ThinTech is not as well cushioned as they imagined - a symptom of trying to make it thinner - and I already feel the left foot is getting flatter from my weight transfer of the swing. The waterproofing may last 2 years - the sole itself will not - and I feel silly that I have to think about putting pads in there!

Best Golf Shoes I have Worn

I walk and carry my clubs and these are very comfortable shoes. I find no problem with the heel design. They fit much better than any other golf shoe I have had. They give a nice 'platform' to start you swing with. I like the design, very classy looking shoes.

I thought I was a Footjoy customer for life but these changed my mind.

I've really appreciated the look and feel of Adidas shoes for years (golf and running shoes)and they continue to improve each year with new technology. I've owned just about every brand of golf shoe out there and Adidas have always provided great feel, durability, and support. Shoes last me a long time so I do not mind investing a few extra bucks in quality. I've found that Amazon always has the best deals.
