Customer Review :
Picky shopper.
The first one I recieved had a dent, so I sent it in for a replacement. The second one had paint along the lip and was not sealed properly. The third was just like the second one. Three times is a charm. I'm sending in the third one for a refund.

pretty good bottles
i got three 12 ounces container for my kids and so far so good-been a few weeks. srewing the cap on is easy, but when you're pushing the piece at the very top to close it you really have to put a bit of pressure-easy for me but not for my four and six year olds. i had to really stress this with my three kids because it kept leaking in their lunchboxes-they finally got the hang of it. the size is very good-not too big and not too small. i think what would make this better is if it had a snap top because you're not able to pull enough water fast enough when you're really thirsty-a plastic bottle you can aid the flow of water by squeezing it(though the material isn't healthy). all in all i am pleased with the purchase and i would recommend this to others-i'm just very, very picky :^)

The only water bottle that could double as a weapon!
I have a Camelback water bottle too, and it's great, but if I were stranded in the woods and a bear approached me I'd be in trouble. They say it's unbreakable but it's a little too light to deter a bear, no matter no hard I swung. My 40 oz. Klean Kanteen, on the other hand, would make that bear think twice before feasting on me.
Seriously though, I own a black, 40 oz. Klean Kanteen water bottle, with the Sport 2.0 cap, and it's great. It looks good, the water tastes only of water, and it's clearly (from the story above) durable.
Feel comfortable purchasing this product without hesitation.

A nice water bottle
You can get stainless steel water bottles for far less, but I like the KKs. They are seamless on the outside and have a simple, attractive finish. I use mine at work where we have filtered water on the ground floor which tastes a lot better than water from the drinking fountains. That's not the most demanding environment, but it seems well made and the steel is slightly thicker than some of the less expensive bottles I've seen at Target, etc. I got the 27 ounce basic bottle with the loop top. I would probably opt for the 40 ounce if I were to buy another since it's only a little larger and weight is not a concern for my purpose.

Happy with my Klean Kanteen
These water bottles are very handy. They are all different colors so no one gets their waters mixed up. They fit in every backpack and they even hook on to your pants! The stainless steel keeps you water cool on hikes. Overall a great bottle.

Customer Review :
So versatile & much better than plastic!
I keep the 40-oz bottle with the sports cap by my bed for when I get thirsty at night and to help me swallow my morning pill (if I don't take it right upon waking, I tend to forget). I prefer to use a bottle with a cap rather than a glass because a) when I'm sleepy I have a tendency to knock things over, and b) one glass is just not enough when you are thirsty! I used to use plastic bottles, but always felt bad about all the waste, not to mention the possible carcinogenic effects... Plus, after a few days the water bottles get that "smell" which I imagine is from bacteria building up around the neck. I also bought the 12-oz bottle with a flat lid; it's VERY small, but can fit in a purse and is useful to keep on your desk at work, especially if your workplaces has a water distributor where you can get refills. I'm going to order a 27-oz bottle to keep at hand in our home office as well, just to round out the collection! I LOVE how you can mix and match the lids to suit your needs. All 3 bottles will come in SOOO handy when summer arrives and we start doing more outdoor activities like picnics, hiking, etc.

Highly recommended
This is an awesome water bottle to own! It is a great way to stop using so many plastic bottles and just re-use this one. It cleans up very well. I am considering buying an insulated one to have for hot drinks as well.

Bad taste and smell and leaks
I bought 4 of these to take on traveling to save on plastic bottles and I am not sure how often I will use them actually.
The thought of leaving any water in it for a day, let alone over night grosses me out.
There's this revolting metal smell and taste that goes into the water from the canteen. I even bought the sport cap tops and that still doesn't help, even smelling the cap after it's been on for a while has the same sickening smell.
The only way you don't notice it as much is if the water is very cold and you pour it into a glass. Drinking straight from the canteen is gross and I only do so when extremely thirsty as I'd really rather not.
I have no idea why it's such a bad smell and wondered if anyone else noticed.
The bottle also cannot be turned upside down or put into a bag because it just leaks water everywhere. The sport tops have this rubber piece that opens up when you suck water through it and it just leaks water unless the canteen is completely upright.
This is what you get for an expensive "clean" waterbottle?
Rating :
Ideal solution for solution carry.
The cap threading is the best I've seen, with no alignment or cross threading problems at all. Beats any on the market that I have tried.
Rating :
The best water bottle!
I have tried other stainless steel water bottles, and these are the BEST! The size is perfect and I love the choices for the tops. I chose the one that has a loop and it makes it so easy when I go for a walk to hold on to it. I love that the kleen kanteens have wider openings for the top - this makes it easy to put ice in if wanted and so much easier to refill. I have washed mine many times in the dishwasher and it is extremely durable. This is the best water bottle!

Customer Review :
good product, outrageous shipping cost
I needed it, so I bought it, choking over the fact that the shipping cost was almost twice the cost of the item itself.
Rating :
Great
I bought a few extra tops to go along with my Klean Kanteen bottles. Some reviews state they leak, but my 3 and 5 year old kids use these every day and there is no leaking around the threads (rubber ring is tight). If you leave the top up it will leak if tipped, but every water bottle I've had will do that.

Lean Kanteen Poly Sports Cap 2.0
Wow! It is a must buy! What a pleasure to not have to unscrew the top and take it off all of the time. Great Buy.
Rating :
Love the new look, but the cap leaks!
The sport top plus the eye-hook handle is a nice feature but the cap leaks when tipped sideways. The product packaging gives a leakage disclaimer, but I wasn't able to read that disclaimer until after I purchased this product. We just need to make sure our kanteens stay upright now, and with two younger children, that's not always easy to do.

Leaks and noisy
I loved the idea of a cap because I hate to drink out of the wide mouth. But this cap leaks terribly! It does not leak out of the mouth spout - I pushed that tightly closed, laid it on its side and realized the leak comes from the small space on the side silicone "stopper." This stopper is also the cause of the awful noise when you drink! When i am in class, people around me used to look at me when I drank because of the noise. Now I have to press down on the silicone stopper so it doesn't have to make the chirping noise when I am somewhere quiet. So this silicone piece is round and fits through a straight hole, leaving holes on either side of the silicone. These holes seems to be the cause of the leakage and noise. I hate not being able to lay the bottle flat in my smaller purses - I have to stand it upstraight and only zipper the purse partway to accommodate the bottle. I Wish KK would fix this!

Kid sized bottles for Big adventures and easy for parents to clean
Customer Review :
No Spills!
I bought this for my 20 month old son on a friends suggestion. It is the only cup/bottle that does not leak! It is great for in the car because I do not have to worry about my son spilling all over the seat. I also bought one for myself because I love it so much. They are easy to clean either in the sink with soap and water or top rack in the dishwasher. I also love the different designs for the kids bottles. I recently gave one to my niece and nephew and they love taking them in their school lunch. This bottle is a must have for kids!!

Great for 3+ years kids!
My 3 & 2 year old kids love this bottle! Great for transition off sippy cups. Love that it's BPA and light-weight.

I LOVE THESE BOTTLES!
I was so tired of always having spilled juice/water in my bag (i keep their "spill-proof" cups in my big purse when we got out) so I invested a little more and bought the stainless steel version of these from another website. Great, except the stainless steel can't go in the dishwasher & we had to use bottle scrubbers and even then I didn't feel super comfortable with the smell in them. The painted designs were slightly chipping off and then my 2 year old son did what I had been trying my hardest to avoid: he lost his $20 cup. So then I came to amazon and bough the BPA-free plastic version and I LOVE them. They really don't leak. There is liquid trapped in the bite-straw portion that will gradually leak out but it's limited to that small volume. I could probably squeeze that out before loading them up in my purse if I cared enough. The bite straw took a little while for them to learn & they rejected these cups the first two times I offered it to them, but then again, my children are 4 and 2. Once they learned, these were their instant favorite cups. And their friends' favorite cups. Everyone wants to drink out of their cups. i take these apart and throw them in the dishwasher & life is less complicated than with the stainless steel version. They love hooking their finger through the loop and carrying them around that way and they also get a huge kick out of pressing the button to make the straw flip up. And the straws are LONG and even reach down to the bottom of the bottle so that I don't have to refill the drink until it really is empty. I also haven't noticed the paint chipping off. Oh, and one was accidentally placed next to a waffle-iron-in-use and it only slightly warped the bottle; it's still usable. They're also cheaper and much lighter than the stainless steel version. I will be buying two more for my children since they're the only cups I will put in my purse when we go out now. I even want one for me, that's how much I love them!

Good kids water bottle
It's a nice size for my 5 year old. The water does leak unless it's in lock position which surprised me. However, my little girl loves it because of the biting straw feature and the colorful design.

Editorial Review :
NALGENE containers have stood up to some of the world's most extreme conditions. Small potatoes compared to small children. The NALGENE Grip 'n Gulp is tough enough to survive being thrown from a moving minivan, spillproof enough to compel parents to blame the rug stains on the dog, and odorproof enough to allow leftover milk to go undetected under the couch for months. Most importantly, it's a great way for little kids to reach new heights.
Customer Review :
great sippy for my 3 yr old!
I got this for my 9 month old for Christmas, felt he was too small for it and let my 3 yr old use it. Best sippy cup in the house!!! I am going to get more. Love it. Easy to clean, does NOT leak. At all. Great. And I've tried a lot of different ones...

best toddler cup ever
My toddler could pretty much masacre any cup you put in front of him. His drink would spill out of the lid. This bottle has NO SPILLING! I now have two--one for milk and one for juice. It's fantastic. Incredibly durable.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
LOVE these! I have one in every color. My daughter is just now a year old and has no problems drinking from them. They don't spill or leak even when I throw it in the diaper bag or my daughter bangs it on the counter. The little loop makes them easy to hold or carry and even easier to attach to the stroller using those little links. They hold plenty of liquids and are very easy to clean. Just take off the valve and throw in the dishwasher. I have a lot of sippee cups and they never get used anymore. These are just the best!

Great cup for a 2 year old!
This is an excellent cup for my two and a half year old. It absolutely does not leak--he shakes it, tumbles with it, etc and no leaks. So, for that alone, I would give it 5 years. My only wish is that it wasn't so big since this is a child's cup. It's a little big, in my opinion, but my son loves it. I was afraid it would be too heavy with liquid in it but he doesn't seem to mind. I wish they made a smaller size so my one year old could have a cup that didn't leak all over the place. A great cup that truly performs the impossible task of making my toddler a little less messy.
Rating :
Another great Nalgene product
My just barely 2 year old daughter loves having her own water bottle. The handle is great for holding onto, but my one year old hates that it touches her nose while she is drinking from it. My two year old and I love this product even though my slightly picky one year doesn't.

Question : would you consider these stereotypes of houston high schools true?
*Memorial High School- I live in one of the richest parts of Houston and myhouse is the size of a Dinosaur. If I am a girl I drive a Mercedes or BMW,if I am a guy I drive a Tahoe or some other kind of large SUV. We are likeBellaire and Lamar times 10. Our school is about as diverse as anAbercrombie catalogue and looks just like it. We party every weekendbecause we are rich, bored and have nothing else better to do with ourlives. Our football team is pretty good and Roger Clemens' son went here Ithink. We say we have the "hottest girls in Houston " and we mean it. Ourmascot is the same as the ultimate snob college: SMU. I am a Mustang.*Katy,Taylor and Cinco HS - I live in an area that is really nice but itscheap as hell. Our parents could not afford to live in memorial orbellaire.I might drive a car that is worth more than my house. We areconsidered "hicks" by the inner houston kids.If im a girl i am blonde andwill probably have skin cancer really soon. Our football team is among thebest in the nation due to D-ball and other steroids. We have field partiesand everyone gets laid. If im a guy, i love to get in fights. If im a girl ilove to sleep with my best friends bf. I am a Tiger.*St. Thomas High School- I am probably white and preppy or I drive a bigtruck and pretend to be a cowboy. My truck has a lift and giant wheels eventhough I live in River Oaks. My granddaddy, my dad, my uncle and mybrothers went to St. Thomas , I couldnt go anywhere else or I would be dead.We act like homosexuals, but if you show any signs of actual homosexualityyou are as good as dead. We go to football games, but we don't cheer orgive a shit because our team sucks and all we are interested in is meetinggirls. I haven't seen a minority in years. I hate fish, I love beer. I aman Eagle.*St. Pius High School- Even though I am probably white and middle class, Ipretend to act like a prep or a cowboy. I am neither because I can notafford the clothes and accessories to be those things. I either gotrejected from St. Thomas or St. Agnes and thats why I am here. My school isa dump, but I don't care because we have girls, unlike St. Thomas . We hateSt. Thomas because they are a real school and call them "gay" even thoughwe have more gay students. I think our football team is good, but I dont goto games because I don't own a car. I am a Panther.*Lamar High School- I am either a rich white kid or desperately poor. Wehave so many cliques because for some reason every group under the Sun goesto our school. There are the "IB Students" who segregate themselves fromthe normals. Our school is the size of a small town in Texas and our schoolwould explode if we had anymore people. Football team? Yeah I they are goodbut I dont go to games because either I am too busy with my mercedes orcan't afford to attend the games. I am a Redskin.*Strake Jesuit College Preparatory- I live in Sugarland or some other suburband I have long hair. I drive a Passat because I pretend to be anenvironmentalist. It doesnt matter who you talk to on our campus, they haveall smoked pot at one point. Even though we are snobs who couldnt care lessabout other people we pretend to be "men for others". I hate people fromKaty almost as much as I hate St. Thomas . For some reason my school islocated between Chinatown and a ghetto. We have a good football team, but Iwasnt allowed to play any sports because I wasn't recruited. I love St.Agnes girls, any other girls are scum. I play hacky sack, I dip and Ilisten to Phish. I am a Crusader.*Bellaire High School- I live in a city that considers itself too good forthe city of Houston . Even though I am rich, I am not above using lots ofdrugs and behaving like a total ass. There are lots of hot girls at myschool, but they are all reserved for football and baseball players. I hatethe baseball team and baseball players, I used to play baseball at somepoint in my life, but I sucked. I drive an SUV or a sports car and I loveto flaunt it. I am a Cardinal.*Stratford High school- I live in the "poor" area of memorial, that is theunder a million part.I am upper middle class ,but compared to memorial kidsi am poor.We hate westside and they hates us.I go to a school with nowindows. Theres never anything to do on the weekends except forwhataburger. Unlike memorial kids...i dont drive a brand new BMW,but a usedlexus. I know everything about everybody and everybody knows everythingabout me.I go to parties that get busted before they even start. We areknown for our prude girls and having the best good looking guys.Ourfootball team always gets their ass kicked by Memorial... I am a Spartan.*St. Agnes Academy- I am probably a rich girl. I drink a lot and if I'mreally adventurous, I smoke. Mommy and Daddy wanted me to go to a school ina "Christian" environment, so they put me in the biggest drama filled sharktank in the city of Houston . For the St. Thomas/Strake rivalry, we choosesides by which school has the cutest guys. We are the ultimate sisterschool, not IWA or Duschene. We also have an all boys school next door, unlike them. HAHA. We love to have dances, even though they usually suck. Iwould be in a sport, but omygawsh have you seen their uniforms. I am aTiger.*Episcopal High School- I live in the Bellaire area, but it doesnt reallymatter where I live because I still have more money than you. I am richbeyond your wildest dreams, yet I constantly screw up and get busted withdrugs. If you don't have a laptop you better get one and if you dont have aBMW or Mercedes you better get one. Did I mention we really love drugshere. Even though we are a "religious" school, we have almost no religionin our lives at all. Our lacrosse team is pretty good, but I don't evenknow what that is. Have fear, I am A Knight.*Westside High School revised- Our school looks likea resort and since weare a new school, we have not been totally filled with undesirable people, drugs and crime(until now). I live either in the ghetto or in a richarea(probably the ghetto). Our school is full of New Orleans kids.We providemost of the drugs to all the rich schools, and break into their cars whiledoing it.If im a girl i am probaly dating a black guy or a wigger. If yourlooking for some weed let me know. I am a Wolve.*St. Johns School- We are pretty similar to Episcopal, except even richerand in the River Oaks Area. Pot? Please, our housekeeper gets his Pot fromme, Pot is sooo passe. My parents didn't want to send me to Lamar andexpose me to an ounce of diversity. I play sports, but we only play othersuper rich schools like Episcopal and Kinkaid, so we suck. We claim to beprivate, but we have no religion classes or real religious affliliation. Weused to be called the rebels, but we thought that would offend minoritystudents, but we dont have any of those. I am a Rebel... errr I meanMaverick.*Westbury High School- We used to be a great school kinda like Lamar orBellaire. But once integration started in the 1970's our school went tohell. My school is in a middle class suburb, but almost none of the whitekids in the area go to my school. If I am white that means I am a totalscrew-up. Even Black students are no longer going here, because of how muchour teams suck. We like to "defend our turf" against New Orleans kids. Eventhough we are mostly minorities, our mascot is a major Confederate symbol.I am a Rebel.*The Kinkaid School- See " St Johns School " except we are in Memorial.
Answer:
ROTFLMAO!! You are really good! You need to add Awty International & Duschene. I can't wait to see what you write. Please go into detail about Kincaid, it's 1000 times more inbred than St. John's! I want to laugh some more.

Question : Christmas gift ideas for 47 year old husband who does not drink, eat junk food or watch sports!?
My husband will not hint to me about what to give him- ever. We have been married for one year, and dated three years prior to that. He's not materialistic, but I get the feeling that I could be giving him more than home made coupon booklets and fuzzy socks, like I have in the past. He's definitely not into beer or sports teams. We're both runners, but we have all the gear and running accessories we need. I can't come up with any good ideas. Any suggestions?I do not think he would run with an ipod. He's always liked the sound of nature, but thanks for the suggestions. He also is not a gadget guy in general. He has a nice leather bound bible already, too. I think a cute Santa suit (or lingerie for me to wear for him) is a great idea, but does anyone more gift idea under $100?
Answer:
Power Tools.Tickets to the theater.Artwork for his office at work.Sexy lingerie in your size. Include a note suggesting you're sure he'll enjoy watching you wear them.A new game the two of you could enjoy playing together.

Answer:
Fix the spelling, "talk very easily". And change that to "good communicator". The eye contact thing is kind of wierd.Awards, not rewards:Awards: Four Student of the Month Awards - 2006Under the work description, say what you did, not where you worked. You already said the company name, the reader knows you worked there. You could say "Assisted customers with product queries in the digital audio department".Your objective is just to gain employment? That doesn't tell the reader anything they don't already know. How about "To gain employment in a position that will help me hone my customer service skills while at the same time learning about the retail business", or something like that.Use bullets where you can in lists (like for the Skills section). List out the MS Office products you know (MS Access, MS Word, etc.).Hope this helps, good luck.

Question : Sports Day Costume ideas?
My school is having Sports Day next week and I was looking for ideas to dress up as...Each team as a different colour and we have to wear that colour on the day. I'm in blue and I was thinking of going as a sailor kind of thing... So, like, stripey over-sized tees, fishnet stockings, lace etc. And like the main colours would be navy blue/white/black and maybe some red but not too much because there's a red team!I found a few pics of stripey shirts that I liked from Supre and also found some cute ballet flats from Rubi Shoes soo yeahh... :)What I'm basically asking for is ideas on what to wear but also maybe some names of shops that sell those type of clothes or accessories.. I'm in Australia... I'd prefer not to buy from online shops but pictures are always good for inspiration! ;) Oh and I'm doing two or three events - Javelin, Discus and Tug of War... So I'd prefer to wear something I can still move in ahha I guess the ballet flats arent such a good idea but I'll bring some other shoes and yeahh :PThanksss :)
