This versatile multi-sport duffle is the perfect travel companion.

Customer Review :

Great Bag. Holds Everything

I ordered the Mountain Duffel in XL and is it large. This bag holds just about everything. Very heavy duty.

Good value

This is a well designed bag. I particularly like the "D" SHAPED ZIPPER on the top that allows better access to the contents than a straight zipper would. The end compartments are nice and the pull handles on the ends also come in handy. It is generously sized. Since others have reported the dimensions I will not comment further than saying the "med" is more than I need. The fabric seems fairly durable; but the zippers are somewhat light weight.. This bag should hold up well for caring clothing.

If you need a bag that is heavier weight (as I do for caring equipment) I suggest you check out the Mountainsmith Travel Trunk line. The have heavier material and zippers. They also have compression straps to back up the main zipper. They do not have The "D" zipper or end pockets however, and they cost more.

http://www.amazon.com/Mountainsmith-Travel-Trunk-Red-Medium/dp/B0037WLEDK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1279651810&sr=8-2-spell

I rate the Outdoor Products bag 5 stars for its combination of utility, construction and price point ($26 for medium), even though for what I need the Mountainsmith turns out to be a more appropriate choice.

Great item

I own this bag for over 2 years. Been using it for overseas trip many many times. Hold up really well.. Great quality.. Have no problem with it at all. I am buying more today.. Love it!

Awesome Bag

I got the bag for my South African Mission trip during the FIFA 2010 World Cup. The bag held up during the 54 hours in transit from the US to South Africa and back. The zippers all still work and I expect the bag will be around for quite some time.

Thanks, Cyndy McCommic :)

Spacious yet accessible

Needed a good sized duffle to store assorted gear (tent, hiking poles, sleeping bag/pad etc). The size of the large bag was spacious enough to pack in all my gear without having to cram anything in and was easy to close. The U-shaped opening made removing items from the pack easy without having to unpack the entire bag.

The material on the bag itself feels a little thin, especially considering how much stuff you could load into it. Handles and shoulder strap anchors seem well constructed and the velcro handle holds are a nice touch since it makes the bag easier to pick up without having to gather up the handles. A padded shoulder strap would have been nicer, but this is still a lot of bag for the price. The included storage sack makes a convenient carrying case for toiletries or any other small items.

Versatile Bag

I really like this duffel bag. As a gym bag it fits my needs. The compartment for shoes is great. The only complaint is that the plastic holder to keep the two handles together does not work that well. The bag could do without it.

Good Bag. Description a little deceiving

I started to workout almost daily so I needed to switch from my tote bag to something more substantial. I bought this one bcause the price was right and I liked the wasabi color. The bag has proven to be a good purchase. It's sturdy, has good straps, has a good number of compartments and I really like the inner compartment for shoes, wet and dirty clothes etc. It's bigger than what I wanted and the wasabi color is more lime than wasabi but all in all, I'm happy with my purchase and would recc this bag to others.

convenient gym bag

Great gym bag and perfect size. I like how there is a zip up area on the side where you can store sneakers.

Heed the other reviews

I have only been using this bag for a few days but it's great thus far. I simply searched Amazon for the gym bag with the best reviews and got this one (in blue). The shoe pouch is great; a nice addition. If you need a TON of compartments (there are only 4 including the shoe pounch) then this may not work for you. However, for a gym bag I don't need any more than what it has.

Rating :

High-quality gym bag with handy compartments

This is a high-quality gym bag that has a lot of handy compartments for your gear.

We got his-and-hers bags as a wedding gift and we couldn't be happier with them.

Besides using them for the gym, we've also used on of them to travel with. The bags fold up well, making it a great spare bag for taking with you on long trips (or trips where you might come home with more than you left with).

Lastly -- the bag is rather stylish, which I love.

Excellent bag. Highly recommend it.

Excellent, Versatile Bag

This was purchased as a Father's Day gift, and was received with rave reviews. He likes the size, the sturdy construction, and the various pockets and sections. This was a good buy, the best not-a-briefcase for a man on the move!

Rating :

Horrible Service

I ordered the high sierra tank messenger bag hoping to get a great quality product. I open up the cheap bag its sent in and i see a book bag of all things a two strap book bag not even a messenger book bag. I'm very disappointed. One might wonder if they see what they package.

Rating :

This bag really is quite large

As a college student in a rainy area, I really needed a water proof / resistant bag to carry my books in. This is perfect for that, my only complaint is the size. The bag is so wide that it bends around my books and binders. It actually fits me better that way, but it looks a little odd. The shoulder pad, while quite big is extremely comfortable and molds to the shape of your shoulder. The Velcro is weak, but the clasps work well and are reliable.

The color I chose (Navy, Ash, Silver, Black)looks sleek and professional, but the bag can be used for anything from carrying books to a weekend trip.

All in all, I am very happy with this purchase.

Rating :

Poor Quality...

This bag is everything I needed and was happy at first. But with in the first few months the bag literally started falling apart. I only use it to bring to work and some vacations but for the threading and the side pockets (for water bottles/drinks) are completely torn up.

I would say this is from wear and tear, but this poor quality bag went straight to tear.

In addition, the strap always seems to be getting knotted up. Its not a swivel, which makes it quite annoying to straighten everytime i use it.

Rating :

Great Bag at great price

This bag was the perfect thing I was looking for. After having another product from this manufacturer this was a no brainer to look for this item through High Sierra as well. I will continue to support this manufacturer due to the quality of their products.

The Diadora Medium Team Bag is made of 420 denier nylon with PVC backing. The main compartment has oversized ergonomic zippers with bungee zipper pulls and two vented end pockets, one with a shoe tunnel. The padded shoulder strap is removable, making this an ideal choice for traveling.

Customer Review :

Great Bag!

I bought this sports bag for my husband for the Father's Day gift. He absolutely loves it, and started to use it the very next day. The bag is very well made, all the materials are very sturdy and strong. It's very roomy inside, just the right size for all his gears and clothings. I like the separate shoe compartment, so the sneakers won't mix with the clothes and other things. Great design and great value! I highly recommend it!

Rating :

Well Thought Out

This is a well made gym bag and well thought out too: the pocket for the shoes is probably my favorite thing about it. There are other nice features that show the designers didn't just throw it together, for example, the stitching is well done and protected, the materials are strong, the zippers are extra strong (and even the zipper holders are unusually nice.) The main opening is a large flap rather than a simple straight opening, which gives you more access and places less stress on the zipper (and the surrounding cloth.) The color choices are good, and the bag is good looking. I suppose it could have had a few more pockets but its so much larger than "medium" that I haven't been able to fill it yet anyway. If I need another bag, I'll buy one of these.

Rating :

great bag

Lots of room and many separate storage areas for bringing to my gym. Bigger than I expected.

diadora gym bag

This is a nice bag. It has plenty of room and extra compartments for smaller items or wet items that you
might want to keep separate. It has a good shoulder strap and it comes in a variety of colors. The only question
remaining is how will it hold up over time but it should do well.

Rating :

A great multi-purpose bag

I purchased this for my daughter who uses the bag for soccer and volleyball. All of her gear fits easily in the bag and is great for trips overnight or longer. The bag is well constructed and the colors are vibrant which was important for our 14 year old daughter. We may buy a couple more since the price is right.

Customer Review :

Very Nice

Very Impressed with the Monsoon Gearslinger. This thing is high quality and should last a long, long time. I use it every day carrying my laptop to work (perfect size for a 15" Macbook) and plan to use it as my carry-on bag during trips as well. I've received tons of positive comments on it.

Rating :

I got what I paid for.

This is the best bag I've come across so far, being a suburban commuter and student it may very well be over-kill for my lifestyle. With the PAL/MOLLE webbing I no longer have to consider a new bag, rather what accessory will best compliment my current needs. The versatility is far reaching compared to my updates of a three by five accessory pouch to carry miscellaneous items, and future plans to attach The FR-1 pouch both from Maxpedition as well.

It easily survives city travel and scoffs at weekend excursions. When cinched tight to my torso the product works well with my center of gravity even without attaching the supporting waist strap, this has definitely helped when being late for class. A color contrast for the interior would have been nice for easy item recognition but this issue is practically moot for me. With all the things this bag can do it almost makes me want to be more involved with outdoor activities just to justify the purchase.

Will it last the test of time? It has a far better chance then most. Not the end all be all of bags but has certainly satisfied a niche in my needs.

nice backpack.

Very cool backpack. Works great on a bicycle.

Went with the khaki and was slightly disappointed to see that all the black trim in the khaki picture aren't actually on the bag and aside from the baseplate, nothing else is black.

Excellent Bag, made for Giants!

I love this bag - tough construction, low-profile, comfortable, and intuitive pocket design. I stand 6' tall and 175lbs, a fairly average male size I would say. This bag is definitely designed for larger people or for people wearing protective vests, etc. The bag doesn't sit quite high enough on my back with the straps fully tightened. A few passes with an industrial sewing machine solved the problem but that might not work for everyone.

If you're a smaller than average person you may have trouble getting the best fit with this bag. If the bag fits, however, you will love it. I took a risk with the price but I already think it was worth it.

Excellent.

After using OGIO, Targus, Adidas, Oakley backpacks, I have to say this is truly the best built and thought through. Great piece of gear. It reminds me of a Blackhawk line of gear that seem to be build to military specs, i.e. very reliable and with a usability in mind. Took it for a 10 day trip to Chicago. Carried all the stuff the family needed through out the day: water, jackets, camera equipment, umbrella etc.. Strap is great. Additional, around the waist belt is very useful too. Highly recommended.

Question : What do you think of this Christmas gift?
Every year in my fathers large family we buy gifts for the children and do 'grab bag' gifts for the adults. What this means in our family is that you spend around 20 dollars on one gift for a woman and 20 on one gift fo a man. Being that all those who are in the family have different tastes, hobbies and ideas of what constitutes a worthy gift it is always a stressful situation choosing their perfect gift for 'who knows who'. Often there are many tools, sports related junk, candles and bath sets. Every year there are those who act as if they have received a box filled with used cat litter. People exchange gifts with each other for something more their liking and feelings can get hurt. This year I thought that we (my hubby and I) would get the 'generic' man and 'who knows who' woman donations to a charity in their name. not only does it help someone in need but hey, who can complain about giving? Well actually there are a few there who would complain, they did not get a goodie for themselves, which to me is more of a reason to do it.So what is the general feeling out there about this? Is it good idea or should I once again buy fodder to be tossed aside?

Answer:
my dads family does something similar (but my dads family is cheap so it is only $5!!!!!!!!!!!) so it is all crap and i think that giving to a charity is such a great idea i may steal it lol thanks

Question : what can i do if i KNOW my boss is racist? what can i do?
so, i have worked in this retail store in pa for sometime. its a sporting goods store. the management i work for is already terrible. but.....there is an older caucasian man who works there, lets call him "ron" who i know for a fact is racist. here's why: recently we have had a surmounting amount of theft. i mean just WAY too much stuff. but the problem is, anyone can be stealing from this store. if "ron" works, the general managers rely on him to keep and eye out for thieves......the problem is...he only watches black people...and spanish families. if a white family is in the store most of the staff have to stop what were doing even helping people of color, and help them. and when we dont. we get write ups for "insubordination".this past sunday, a family of black people clearly in church gear walked in...he followed the family all over the store. as he was doing that...i watch two young caucasian kids steal some adidas slides. i did not stop them. he clearly uses all his effort to only watch black people. and YES. i have told the managers above him that he does this and there excuse are "he is old. that's what he does its not a problem"i know for a fact the last 5 thefts he actually caught were from causcians.....and he thinks nothing of it. another thing that bothers me is if i am there and one of my caucasian coworkers are there they take breaks before me even if i am there before them. i also have an asian person i work with and he literally pats him down when he leaves, but wont say anything to this same cauasian coworker "jeff" when he leaves with a book bag full of crap.....i know about h.r....but we all know they dont do a thing. ive been there for about 2 years. im not leaving anything soon. what do i do????they wont put cameras in even for the theft thats actually happening besides the racisim. and i have documented, each time and date...faxed it in ..and nothing happened...they never even got back to me. and no im not the type to flip out, im just mad that he followed that poor family around...and they were clearly in church clothes. it was the straw.....

Answer:
I agree with one of the other posters here just ignore it for as long as you can because the job market is rough right now. Here is a tip smile in the face of adversity in doing this this racist will not know how to take you because of the smiles and the good manner.Of course he thinks you will explode and act a fool but cooler heads will prevail just give it a try!Good Luck!

That is a pretty exhaustive list. If you MUST wear makeup, bring that, but you really don't need a ton of stuff. Whatever you feel you CANNOT live without for a month, bring. Don't bring any knives (no pocket knife). If you want you could bring a little first aid kit-type thing. I use advil at least once a week, so I bring that with me.

Question : How to become Legal guardian for my nephew (by marriage)?
My nephew who lives in westchester, ny is 14 and is out of control. He is smoking marijuana, got suspended from school for having marijuana in his bag, is sneaking out of the house to hang out with his friends, and has come close to assaulting his mother. In general, he's going down the wrong path and has no respect for his mother. His mom is trying her best, but she's a single mom (dad left before kid was born) and she can't stop working to watch him all day. I live in a small town in PA and I'd like to take him in for awhile to get him away from his current group of friends, who I feel are taking advantage of him and may be using him as a courier for their drugs. I live to far to visit him, so taking him in for awhile or until 18 may be the best solution. How can I become his legal guardian or temporary legal guardian so that he can live with me and my wife? I want to register him in high school and for sports activities. His mother has said she will let him live with us. I really don't want to lose this kid, i've known him since he was 6. He's just around some bad people and they are influencing him in the wrong way. I don't have alot of money right now, so I'd like to keep a lawyer and his fees out of this. Thanks.

Answer:
from what you've described, i don't see why you can't use a sword or crossbow. after all, these do not require any "Punching". you will, of course, have to use a strong grip - does that cause you pain too?why not try it out with any normal rod - try to hold/grip it as firmly as possible. if there is no pain, hey, go ahead with your dreams :-))hope this helpsall the very best :-)

Question : What does this dream (almost a nightmare) mean?
In this dream I get out of my car. It's around 7am, and I pass a field of kids practicing various sports.I find a woman, Linda, who in my dream I had a class with a year before, and also helped out with football events.. She is 50, and has a 25 year old midget daughter who looks like a toddler and can't talk because her tongue is too short.I am very kind and affectionate to her, and she takes a shining to me. At one points she falls over like a bowling pin, and I set her back up.Linda seems distracted with her daughter, and has a general gloominess about life in general. She makes reference to moving to London.I say goodbye to them, but before I do we see an illuminated magic carpet flying above in the sky.I continue on my walk back to the car- the walk I am taking from beginning of dream is a big circle. I come up to the field where I used to play baseball and football as a kid. I see a group of about 20-30 people from my grade, they are the popular kids who I tried hard to make like me, and sometimes I succeeded sometimes not. Some of them are taking pictures, for winning something, or being part of a team- I'm not sure. As I walk past them I see a girl, she recognizes me, almost says hello, changes her mind then turns like I'm not there. I continue on past the group, and see Dan. ( I always dream of Dan- I don't know why but It's a recurring dream) He was, in my opinion, the coolest kid in school. Me and him were friends, though sometimes out of nowhere he could be mean to me, but I always thought he was cool and funny. It was a crush I guess. So Dan gives me a hug and it's nice. We talk, and his friend North is there, and they are selling weed, which is orange and very expensive. Dan puts a little baggie in my pocket, and North Tells me it's 90$. I give him the bag back. There's a man dealing with them who owns a gun. As i step away he shoots twice- I can feel the shake of the gun, its loud, and my body is terrified.. I run away as fast as I can, wondering If I will be shot. Before I turn the corner I see Dan has been shot and am hit by sadness..... Then I wake up... It's 830 which I have woken up at everyday the past 5 days- and I don't know why.. i usually wake up at 11ish...

Question : what is a good boxing glove brand?
I was looking for a legit pair of boxing gloves, not like everlast brand that they sell at big five or general sporting good stores. any one use any high quality brand for bag work?

Answer:
It's good that you recognize Everlast as garbage, bro.If you want jacked up product and shipping costs, as well as customer service incompetence and complete corruption and rip-off tactics, by all means order from Everlast or Title. Their business is selling cheap (and often previously used), half-broken, Chinese-made products at 5x their value, while shipping it at additional unreasonable rates, while being governed or oversaught by no one with any moral or ethical values towards keeping the company name at what it once was. Some will say that only their lower-end stuff is garbage, but it's the same with even their higher-end stuff as well. Funniest of all, you'll order an item when it's on sale and they'll confirm that the item in question is indeed on sale, but they'll secretly bill you for the standard item price and other sneaky little corporate bullshit like that. It's sad, really. I look back to things like WWII, the splitting of the atom, etc. and find it astounding that so many men gave their lives, only to have silly shit like this prevail in this day and age. If anyone reading this doesn't believe me on anything I've said, please order from them and witness it for yourself.Anyway, onward to the main answer to your question. I would recommend Ringside, Ultimate Classic, and Combat Sports if you want a decent product for a decent price. Although of those three, I've only tried Ringside, I've heard good things about the others. If you're rich or willing to shell out a lot of money for some really good gear on the high end of the market, get Cleto Reyes, Grant, or Winning gear. Absolute top-notch gear, but very pricey. But remember, nothing from Everlast or Title, ever. No matter how small or simple the order.

Question : Can anybody answer this question?
years ago i damaged the nerves in my right hand, knuckle area, by hitting something hard in anger. - my hand swelled up at the time , but went down and i thought nothing of it - but since then , if i play around , punching a punch bag , i get shooting pains in my knuckle area that make it very hurtful to punch.i saw a hand surgeon months ago who assessed my knuckle area and said i'd probably damaged the nerves in my knuckle region and that there was no surgery to correct it or fix it, i was sent for x rays which came back clear - no fracture , or arthritis changes.so i basically have to live with the damaged nerves in my right knuckle, no surgery can correct it....my hand looks normal , i can use my hand normally, except for punching things , which i used to do.so i was wondering in general, could i still hit a punch bag without any problems if i wanted to train with a punch bag ? - i would get shooting pains , but would i damage my hand further ?in the near future also , i would like to engage in sports and activities using cross bows , swords etc, would i have any difficulty doing this ?another symptom ive had for many , many years is aching , weak , tired joints , ligaments and muscles , especially in my hands and shoulders and arms - i have had blood test done at the doctors which came back clear, the doctor said this symptom was probably due to lack of exercise , lack of activity for so long , and being overweight and out of shape .im presently going to be working on that by buying an exercise bike and doing free weight , exercises .does anyone think any of these ailments ive described would prevent me from using swords, cross bows or doing the activities i like ?

Answer:
You stated, "if i play around , punching a punch bag , i get shooting pains in my knuckle area that make it very hurtful to punch." and then you ask, "could i still hit a punch bag without any problems if i wanted to train with a punch bag ?"You answered this question yourself. The answer is: No, you can't use a punching bag and, yes, you will cause even more damage. You can still exercise providing it isn't a contact type of activity where you could possible hit your knuckles against an object or person. You need to find an activity that has a low risk of impact to your hand so swords and cross bows may not be an option for you.I'm willing to bet that if you called your hand surgeon or general practitioner either could offer safer ways for you to exercise without causing more injuries.Good luck with your boo-boo and remember, the next time you get angry, pillows are great to smack around ;)
