voit balls

three of the balls are shaped like eggs. I did not want to pay for shipping to send them back but I was dissappointed with the quality. Balls need to be round to roll properly.

Great for Dodgeball

I'm a youth pastor and I purchased several of these balls to play dodgeball with our youth. It totally beats paying 10 bucks or more each for the expensive dodgeballs. I've had them for about a year now and they've been used at least a couple times a month since purchased. They hold up well, besides having to pump them up every once in a while. No big deal though. They will hurt if you get hit in the face, especially with how hard some of the young guys throw so we made a rule that you're out if you hit someone in the head/face.

They've been great, and I would definitely buy them again.

Word of Warning:
If you do purchase them, just make sure not to over inflate... even with a cheap pump you can stretch the rubber if you aren't careful. Then you will end up with a bunch of deformed, lop-sided balls. Once they get firm and feel inflated, stop pumping.

Durable and fun!!

I bought this to aid in desensitizing my young filly. Since she's not only a horse, but a young one, I was worried about how this would hold up. All the worrying was in vain. We use it on surfaces from dirt to bermuda grass with thorny weeds in it to concrete and so far it has withstood beautifully! It came with a plug that actually holds under rigorous play...thankfully they sent a tool to take it out with. A balloon pump will work better than a bicycle pump so be prepared to have one on hand. Kids and adults would have hours of fun with this ball!!Balloon Pump Balloon Pump Balloon (1 ct)

NERFtastic

NERF doesn't seem to make their standard foam balls any more. This does the trick at a cheap price.

A little expensive but...

The product (4" foam ball) was delivered quickly, and was as I expected. However I still can't believe I piad a total (including shipping) of $7 and some change for just 1 ball...

Nice foam balls but no color choice

I received my order for two foam balls promptly, but did not like the inability to select what color I would receive in each size. I think that there should be the option to select a color . I did not like seeing the company name in large black letters printed on the balls. How hard would it be to offer a plain , blue, 7" foam ball, without logo? I telephoned the customer service department at US-Games and got a polite response that the balls are not available how I wanted them.

What ever happened to Nerf?

Can you belive that Nerf doesn't make foam balls anymore? These are the best substitute that I have been able to find.

Uncoated Foam Ball

This ball would have been great had our cat not gotten to it. If you have animals that like balls or small children who like to chew, get a ball that is coated or just a rubber ball. My older daughter still plays with it though.

Questions & Answers
Question : What are some good activities to use in a very large physical education class?
I have classes in the 80s. The gym is pretty small. Bean bags are not an option to use. Very few hockey sticks and lacrosse sticks. 10 scooters, 1 playground ball, 10 hula hoops, and limits on other equipment too. The students are at Middle School Age.

Answer:
Play Simon Says. Go outside and run around the track 80 times. That's a sin to have 80 kids in a class.

Question : looking for a do-it-yourself way to re-insert the airvalve in a sportsball without having to take it to a shop
Was filling a little playground ball with sportsball needle - I over-inflated. Stuck the needle in to try to release some air. when I pulled it out, it stuck, so I pulled hard and the whole rubber valve came out. Needless to say the ball is now deflated. The valve has a larger "plug" end which is bigger than the existing hole. There must be a method by which to re-insert it. I'd appriciate it if someone who knows is willing to share their knowledge. Many thanks!

Answer:
These valves are factory vulcanized onto the ball...There is no glue/adheisive that will now hold it back in under pressure..Sorry but you will have to purchase a new ball

Answer:

Question : How would you build a water powered rocket?
My first grade teacher gave me an old plastic soda bottle, a cork, and a pump with an attachment to pump up the playground balls.I also get to use stuff around the classroom.

Answer:
You are smart first grader. I am also infirst grade. I made that rocket. My teacherhelped me.We poked a hole in the middle of the cork witha paper clip so the needle valve attachment thingthe teacher gave would fit real tight.Oh boy, that was the had part!I filled the bottle about half way up with water. This is the fun part. I got to go out ofclassroom with teacher and all the kids. We took all the stuff.I pushed that cork into the soda bottle kinda tight. My teacher held the pump hose near the cork andpointed the soda rocket far away so no kids get hurt.I pumped harder and harder on that pump. WoW, that rocket took off! All the other kidsstarted to laugh. You know why? My teachergot all wet from the water rocket. When we gotback to class, my teacher dried up and startedto tell us about some guy called Newton. But all Icould think about was how high that soda rocketwhen up to the sky.*******************Now you got the kids hounding meto make one.

Question : If you are 25+, do you remember playground games?
I'm in my 30's, when I was a kid in school, I remember going out for recess (playtime), and going to a little shed-like building in the middle of the playground. Inside was a bunch of board games to play and different sizes of balls.Which game was your favorite?Do you remember a game that involved someone hopping on one foot? This is the real question...Do you remember playing a board game that involved a stick and checkers?

Answer:
Hopscotch maybe? It does involve hopping. I'm not sure about the stick and checkers but I think there are different variations of the game. My favorite game was kickball because I was good at it.
