The description doesn't mention these are really meant for small children. If your are looking for Lacrosse sticks for children over the age of 6 these are not for you. Should have known by the price. Keeping them for my niece and nephew. Hate that return shipping fee.

Perfect learning sticks
A regular girl's lax stick was too hard to handle for my 6 year old daughter. So, I bought this pair of boy's sticks and the sticks were lighter and easier to catch with. She liked them more.

Adidas drawstring backpack
I bought this for my nephew. He wanted to use it for a school backpack. It isn't strong enough to carry books, and is coming apart. I'm sure it would make a nice gym bag as the load would be lighter.

Great gym backpack
It's hard to go wrong when purchasing this sort of backpack if you work out regularly. This pack is very sturdy and convenient to use, especially given its slightly larger than average size.

Nice bag...good quality.
I got this when I purchased 2 duffle bags....I had a coupon and ended up getting these basically for free. They are good quality, nice bags. But the fact that there's no compartments or anything makes them not really serve much of a purpose for us. They are good to just throw things in and go I guess. The Adidas brand cannot be beat though.

This is a nice bag that comes in many colors. However, the strap was missing from the order. I will try to contact the seller to have it sent along.

My daughter uses this bag for all her karate gear. So it gets handled very roughly. The gear is crammed into it and the bag is tossed whereever she decides to leave it. It has held up well. I agree with everyone else about the bag size. The total size they list is based on the outside pockets as well and you have to stuff it full to even get close to their listed dimensions. Overall it is a good looking bag that is constructed well and fits my daughters needs for stuffing several items in the center but hold her smaller items in the smaller pockets.

The hard plastic pieces where the harness meets the bag produce an annoying creaking sound. If that piece is made of a soft rubber that would solve the problem.
Otherwise a okay.

While this bag is mainly intended as a gym bag, I bought it for my fiance to use as a weekend travel bag, and he absolutely loves it. It's lightweight and holds a lot. It also has convenient compartments for storage of smaller items. A good investment for the price.

I wouldn't do it unless you're tough. You can get hurt quickly and badly with lacrosse sticks and checking. If you really think you're tough, athletic and in shape then go ahead and try it, but it sounds like your forte is speed, so I would think you should try a sport that brings out your speed factor.

running relays are cheap and easy. find a team of kids to run the relay and find a stick? dodge ball is very easy as well, all you need is a team and a ball!

well, if you want to then go for it but i definitely advise you not to. lacrosse is a tough sport. my brother plays it and one of his friends recently broke his collarbone playing it. no offense, but at your height and weight, and the fact that you've never played a team sport, i really doubt you could take a big hit. i'm not trying to be mean or anything, i just think that if you should at least bulk up a little before trying lacrosse. for equipment you need a lacrosse helmet, stick, shoulder pads, cleats, shin guards, and a mouth guard. if you play, make sure your lacrosse stick is the right size because they vary.

They don't work on a "salary"....at that point, they are self-employed and pay themselves whatever is left over from the operations of the team. If THEY are the owner, WHO is going to pay them a salary???

Most colleges do look at everything from the classes you are taking, the grades that you are receiving in these classes, your standardized test scores, your extra curricular activities, and what do are involved in in your community.As long as you are not getting kicked off because your grades are poor, or you were arrested or something you should be fine.

What should I do to get ready as far as diet, fitness, and stuff like that? Also, what gear do I need, and approximately how much will it cost?

usalacrosse.org will give you all the info. this info will also include every lacrosse club united states. find club close to home. attended a practise. ask old guy standing around about the game. this will give you contact with players. you will get a free high quality stick. practise drills. all for free. you will have to buy helmet, gloves. pads. if you can find proper fit used. please wash with hydrogen peroxide. this will kill all bacteria. a new mouth guard defiantly. it should be under 50 dollars. visit library try to find book author jim hinkson best sport instruction book ever. lacrosse for dummies. all drills basics perfect book.
